How to level up fast in Sand Land

Leveling up is an important part of any game, RPG or otherwise. In Sand Land, you need to level up Beelzebub's skills as well as your allies' skills, so it's important that you spend some time doing some XP farming to get your team to a good place. Here's how to level up fast in Sand Land.

The best ways to level quickly in Sand Land

You won't need to spend hours grinding to level up in Sandland; this story-based RPG has great balance! When you level up in Sand Land, you get access to a whole bunch of special abilities that you can add to your battle strategy. Some of the special abilities that Beelzebub has include boosts for his Power of Darkness ability, an ability that extends the effects of items, and an ability that allows him to dodge enemies even while he's in the middle of jumping.

If you don't gain XP and go to the Characters tab in the menu to learn the available skills, you won't gain any of the perks. Rao and Thief both have great active and passive abilities that can help you in battle, and it would be a shame not to use them.

Fight everything

No matter what it is, if you can fight it, fight it. From raptors and scorpions to boss battles, memorize those keyboard/mouse and controller combos to take down your enemy!

Due to the small amount of XP you get for fighting enemies in the wasteland, I highly recommend not pushing yourself to hunt them down. Just, if you happen to meet them, shoot them with your tank's gun. Simple.

Grab a prize or three

Most of the settlements in Sand Land will have a Hunter you can talk to. Have a nice chat with this guy and take whatever reward you find fun. The bounty list includes the levels of each enemy, so you don't end up digging yourself a hole.

Also, and although you don't have to do them, I suggest doing all the side quests. You will get less XP than the main plot quests (up to 300 XP) because side quests are supposed to take less time. But, there's no harm in picking up the ones you come across and completing them along the way or when you want to level up a bit before your next big main quest.

Don't avoid the caves

The caves are not as scary as they look. There might be an enemy inside, but quite a few of them are just full of crafting materials and other toys. If there's a scorpion or cave cobra, just give it the old one-two and move on. It's the enemies that will give you the XP here.

Run at the ruins

Like much of the content in this action game, the ruins are optional. They act as a dungeon-type feature that players can explore, giving them more items to find and enemies to defeat. You will be able to find rare materials and get some more XP just by completing more of the game.
