How to Redeem Echo Engrams in Destiny 2

Act 1 of Episode 1 of our new year of Seasonal content in Destiny 2 has dropped, which means new activity, the return of an old friend, and plenty of juicy engrams to unlock.

However, with many people returning to Destiny after a very long hiatus to see the end, and with many blueberries also joining in on the fun, there could be some confusion about how seasonal content works and more importantly, how to get. at the good things. So here we will explain how you open your Echo Engrams.

After completing the introductory mission to Echoes, you will need to go to the HELM destination, which has been the center for seasonal content for a long time. On the Destinations screen, it is located below and to the right of the Traveler in the middle.

If you’re here right after completing the mission, you’ll have to listen to Saint-14, Osiris, and Failsafe talk for a bit before getting a (really nice) cutscene. Once everything is done, you will be able to chat with Failsafe itself. Failsafe is the seasonal vendor, meaning she’s the one you’ll get rewards from and get your loot from.

Interact with her to bring up the seller’s screen, which can be a little overwhelming if you’re not familiar. Redeeming your Engrams can be done by clicking on the Engram icon in the top right.

Here you will also see her rewards for you, which are goals that can be completed to increase your rank, which is that bar at the top next to the Engram icon. Increasing your rank offers various rewards, and reaching rank 16 gives you a very important Ascendant Fragment item. Getting here also resets your rank to 1, which allows you to earn them again.
