How to ride fast in Wuthering Waves as a motorcycle
Wuthering Waves features a massive open world, and while characters can use gliders and other tools to traverse the landscapes, there’s no faster way to get around than on a super cool motorcycle. Here’s how to indirectly get a motorcycle in Wuthering Waves, and how you can use it to travel around the world.
How to get a motorcycle mount in Wuthering Waves
Wuthering Waves doesn’t have an official mounting system, but the game has great Echoes that can do a lot more than help you in battle—like traveling on a motorcycle. The motorcycle-riding Inferno Rider makes a rather explosive introduction in the Port City of Guixu Research Quest called We Promise, We Deliver. After completing the Quest, you can absorb the Hell Rider’s Echo use him as a motorcycle mount.
Alternatively, you can also farm for the Hell Rider’s Echo anytime by going to his Tacet Field in the Sea of Flames. However, the burning field will constantly drop your HP, so I suggest completing the Research Quest first. The drop rate for the Inferno Rider’s Echo is based on your Data Bank level.
How to use a motorcycle to travel fast in Wuthering Waves
To use the Inferno Rider, you must configure it as the first Echo for any Resonator you want to ride a motorcycle with. If you want all three Resonators on your team to have the ability to ride the motorcycle, you need to equip the Inferno Rider across all three of them. This Echo is pretty strong in the early game, so it’s a win-win!
Then, you have to press and hold the Echo button (Q for PC) to transform into the Inferno Rider in his motorcycle form. If you press without holding, he is summoned without the vehicle.
Release your grip as soon as the Hell Rider is summoned and use the arrow keys to drive across the map. The effect only lasts a few seconds before it starts to cool down, but you can easily switch between Resonators to keep the drift going. With this little cheat, you never have to worry about the Stamina bar again!
