How to Save Your Clothes in Dressed to Impress (DTI) – Roblox
A feature that was completely overlooked and severely underutilized in Dress to Impress is the ability keep your clothes. This game-changing feature allows users to save a perfect outfit and reuse it during custom contests around a similar theme. So, if you don’t know how to store your clothes or reuse them in DTI, here is a guide explaining the whole procedure.
How to save and reuse your clothes in Dress to Impress
To use the save feature in Dress to Impress, you need to go to the locker-like area right opposite the skin tone customization section. Before going there, design the outfit you want to keep and equip it. Once you have the outfit, enter the fitting room-like cabinet, as shown in the image above, using the default Interaction button (E).
In the new menu, click on the first two icons — cash and clothin both the horizontal and vertical sections, as highlighted in the image above. Now, in the next menu, press the + icon and give your costume a name to save it permanently. Whenever you want to see the outfit, go to the same changing room and access the Clothing section to see the list of saved outfits. You can customize these outfits again to improve them or remove them if you don’t like a particular set.
Why should you save clothes in DTI?
The main reason to keep your clothing in Dress to Impress is for reusability. During a regular round, we only get 5 minutes to customize an outfit for a given theme, and most of the time that’s not enough to recreate the idea in our mind. But saving clothes allows you to reference and build on a skeleton to match a given theme, saving enough time for other things like makeup, nail customization and more. Along with that, you can reuse a particular winning theme for other similar clothes. For example, the prom and prom themes are very similar and can be mixed with a good single outfit.
