In Genshin Impact Simulanka’s World Quest called Until the End of the World, you will be asked to search for a dragon scale within the quest area. If you’ve searched high and low to no avail, here’s how to complete the goal using a new gameplay mechanic.
Where is the dragon scale in Genshin Impact – Until the End of the World
The quest objective will trigger after falling down the waterfall and meeting a Wanderer. After booting up, a highlighted area will appear on the mini-map (see arrow above) that indicates the search area. Be sure to stay in the highlighted area of the map.
Go to the center of the search area to find blocks of ice on the water. You must solve a Ludditanium puzzlewhich is a puzzle mechanic unique to Simulanka.
Start by looking at the red toy bomb (where the arrow points) and pressing the special interaction button (T for PC), which will take it.
After picking up the toy bomb, you must place it on a luditania block, which is a block containing a switch-like structure with an arrow indicator above it (see where the yellow arrow is pointing above). There are two ways you can do this:
- Step the ludditan block to fit the silhouette of the toy bomb into position, so press the Normal Attack button to secure it in place.
- press and hold the Normal Attack button to target the position of the toytanio block. When the silhouette of the toy bomb is correctly positioned, release it to secure it. This method requires you to aim at an angle where the target block is in full view, so I recommend doing it only when solving Ludditan puzzles that require long-range positioning.
After securing the toy bomb in place, it will explode and trigger a small cutscene where the ice luditan blocks are destroyed. The dragon scale will appear on the water. Select it to trigger a dialogue with the party, completing the objective.
