At Tiderise Cliff in Wuthering Waves, there is an area full of chests, and a puzzle that needs to be solved. Only one chest contains a valuable reward, so here’s how to find out which one you make
How to find out which chest has a reward at Tiderise Cliff in Wuthering Waves
Before I start, if you’re looking for where this puzzle is located, you can find it almost directly south of the Tiderise Cliff title on your overworld map, at a harbor-like location.
As mentioned, you will find a lot of randomly different chests located here, but you are only allowed to open one after catching five Fish and giving them to the. Treasure Store Hostess, is present there. However, if you just wander around opening random chests, it will take you forever to find the jackpot. Fortunately, there is a way to determine which chest is the one with the big prize.
Instead of randomly opening chests, go to the dock area and look for a brown cat sitting in one of the corners. If you’re not sure where to look, here’s the cat’s location. Note that since I’ve already found the jackpot, you won’t see the cat in my reference screenshot, but I assure you it’s there.
Talking to this cat will give you the option to give it meat. You’ll want to do this because the cat will then lead you straight to the chest with the big prize inside. If you are not sure where to find meat, you just need to do hunt down the various non-aggressive wildlife roaming the map. Finally, you’ll get a slab of meat that you can use.
Give the cat the meat, then follow it to your prize. You will be handsomely rewarded with Astrite, among other small trinkets.
