How to switch factions in Gray Zone Warfare
Like many modern shooters, Gray Zone Warfare makes you choose one of three factions when you first start. These factions can greatly affect your in-game experience. But are you locked into this choice for good? Keep reading and find out for yourself.
Can you switch factions in Gray Zone Warfare?
Factions are an essential part of Gray Zone Warfare. The Lamang Recovery Initiative; Mithras Security Systems; Crimson Shield International – each faction has its own own particular basis, style and set of tasks. Whichever faction you choose will greatly affect your time playing GZW – and even who you can team up with.
But the good news is that yes, you can switch factions in Gray Zone Warfare. But to do that, you have to completely delete your character and resume your progress. This means deleting your current character and creating a new one before choosing which faction you want to join.
How to delete your character in Gray Zone Warfare
To rip off the band-aid and erase your character, click the “Delete Character” button. at the bottom right of the main menu screen. When the on-screen prompt appears (as seen below), click “Yes, I'm sure” make your fateful choice.
While this might seem like a bold decision, keep that in mind you must be in the same faction to play with your friends and communicate with them. And since this is currently the only way to change factions, we recommend you follow this process as soon as possible in order not to lose valuable loot and progress.
