Natlan is one of Genshin Impact seven primary regions, located west of the Sumeru desert. Below, you’ll find all the trigger requirements to unlock all World Quests and Hidden Quests in the nation of Pyro.
All Natlan World Quests & Hidden Quests in Genshin Impact
This section covers all Natlan World Quests and Hidden Quests not documented in each tribe’s Reputation Board. For tribe-specific quests, refer to the other sections of this article.
Lost in the Woods
Upon entering Natlan via the dedicated Teleport Waypoint (circled above), you’ll immediately spot golden pillars up ahead. Approach the pillars to get transported into a mysterious area, where you’ll automatically initiate the “Lost in the Woods” World Quest.
I strongly recommend completing this World Quest immediately if you missed it upon first entering Natlan. It acts as the prerequisite for the entire “In the Footsteps of the Chosen Dragons” quest chain, which includes 10 World Quests that can be completed with your Saurian companion.
Rite of the Bold
“Rite of the Bold” is the second part of the Between Pledge and Forgettance quest chain. To unlock it, you must first complete the following prerequisites:
- Lost in the Woods
- Tracer No Tracing
- Seeker No Finding
- Beneath the Crystal Rock
- Peace to the Slumbering
You can find all the trigger requirements for the quests above in this article.
After completing all the prerequisites, fast forward the in-game time by two days. Then, go to the Children of Echoes and stand on the bridge pictured above. Doing so will automatically trigger dialogue from Paimon at the bottom of the screen (no animations). When she stops talking, “Rite of the Bold” will trigger.
Revelations from the Past
“Revelations from the Past” is the final installment in the Between Pledge and Forgettance quest series. It will automatically unlock after completing “Rite of the Bold.”
To Wish Upon A Star
Head to the area circled above in Coatepec Mountain, east of the Ancestral Temple. The blue exclamation mark will appear when you get close to the area. You’ll find a child looking down at a deep chasm. Interact with him to trigger the World Quest called To Wish Upon A Star.
Tip: While inside the chasm, attack the large structure a few times, then look behind it to get a free Luxurious Chest.
Stride on Rainbows, Split the Waves
Go to the small islet southeast of the Ameyalco Waters to find an NPC named Rongo. A blue exclamation mark will appear when you get close to the area. Speak with Rongo to initiate the quest called “Stride on Rainbows, Split the Waves.”

In the Footsteps of the Chosen Dragons is a Natlan World Quest series that involves exploring the region with your Saurian Companion. You can only initiate it after completing the World Quest called Lost in the Woods.
This series is not a quest chain and instead consists of 10 standalone World Quests that can be completed in any order.
Tepetlisaurus Hide-and-Seek
Head to the area circled above, which you can directly get to from the Teleport Waypoint on the left. You’ll find a field of Tepetlisauri under tall trees. Approaching the clearing will automatically unlock the World Quest called “Tepetlisaurus Hide-and-Seek.”
Lights, Kamera, Action!
Start by heading to the Statue of The Seven in the Children of Echoes. Go to the area circled above directly behind the Statue of The Seven to find a lone Tepetlisauri and a fissure on the wall.
You need to indwell with the Tepetlisauri to transform into one. Once you’ve transformed, interact with the fissure to go to the top of the mountain. This method is much easier than climbing it yourself!
At the top of the mountain, head to the area circled above to find a Kamera with a blue exclamation mark on top of it. Interact with it to begin the World Quest called “Lights, Kamera, Action!”
Lies and Promises
Head to the underground area in Tecicpac Peak via the underground Teleport Waypoint, then head to the area circled above to find a Strange Yumkasaurus. Interact with it to initiate the Hidden Quest, “Lies and Promises.”
For your convenience, I suggest transforming into a Yumkasaurus by the Teleport Waypoint before heading to the quest area, as you will need to transform to complete the quest.
Special Friends
To unlock the “Special Friends” World Quest, head to the mountain south of the Scions of the Canopy, in the exact location circled above. Once you’re there, approach the Yumkasaurus and Alpaca to trigger the quest to start.
Tip: After completing the World Quest, don’t forget to pick up the special Alpaca Toy to Wactana’s left.
A Saurian Lover’s Ordinary Days
“A Saurian Lover’s Ordinary Days” can be accepted close to the waterfall north of the Scions of the Canopy. Head to the area circled above to find a man surrounded by three Saurians. Approach them to automatically trigger the World Quest. Completing it will reward you with the Recipe for Sour Sauce Kipper.
Weighty Wings
This World Quest is located in a building north of Teticpac Peak. When you get to the area circled above, you’ll find a building with some Sauroform Tribal Warriors and a fallen Qucusaurus. Approach the area to trigger “Weighty Wings” to start automatically.
Waiting For Seeds to Sprout
To get to the quest area, teleport to the Ancient Watchtower Domain and climb the mountain behind it. Go to the empty field marked above to trigger dialogue between Paimon and your Saurian companion. You need to lead your Tepetlisaurus friend toward three holes in the ground so that it digs up a special seed, which will trigger the World Quest called “Waiting For Seeds to Sprout.”
Tip: After completing the quest, return to the same location one real-time day later (or after the next daily server reset) to trigger dialogue beside the blooming flowers. Doing so will reward you with a Hidden Achievement called “A New Hope.”
Treasures and Collectors
Head to the small house northwest of the Scions of the Canopy, which you can easily access via the nearby Teleport Waypoint. You’ll find an NPC named Quipia, who you must speak with to initiate the World Quest “Treasures and Collectors.”
Feeling Like Fish Today!
The World Quest “Feeling Like Fish Today!” can be accepted on the shores south of Teticpac Peak. From the Teleport Waypoint on the right, head toward the wooden ledge located in the area circled above. Your Saurian companion will wander off to observe the water, which will trigger dialogue with Paimon and initiate the World Quest.
Gifts and Gifts in Return
Before starting, you must complete two prerequisites:
- Children of Echoes Tribal Quests, “Tepetli Dissonance” and “Hoarse Echoes”
After completing both of the above, go to the location marked in the image above, to the river west of the Teacac Rise Teleport Waypoint. You’ll find golden pillars at the foot of the waterfall. Enter the subspace, then go forward to trigger dialogue with your Saurian companion, officially initiating “Gifts and Gifts in Return.”
