In the Wuthering Waves Yinlin Companion Story: Solita Path, you’ll be led into a Doll Factory where you’ll be introduced to a new puzzle mechanic that involves using a remote-controlled doll to complete research objectives. In this guide, I will show you how to unlock the mechanism with the remote control doll device.

When starting the puzzle, you’ll find two platforms—one with a cube and one without—and a second cube trapped behind laser bars. First, yours Resonator needs to step onto the free platform to dispel the lasers blocking the second cube.
Then, use the A levitator to pick up the cubeso place it on the same platform your Resonator stepped on. Doing this will allow you to hold the cell open and enter it without holding your character still.
Then, enter the cell and loot the Basic Supply Crate. Since this area is a quest-specific domain, you won’t be able to go back in to loot what you missed later. Once done, interact with the Manipulating Dolls mechanism to become a doll.
Once you’ve turned into a doll, go to the bridge blocked by lasers. In this smaller form, you will be able to slide through the barriers through the opening at the bottom.
After passing three laser barriers, go up the stairs on the right find a red platform. Place the doll on top of the platformso click the Resonance button (E for PC) to switch back to drop the doll in place and switch back to your Resonator. Placing the doll on the platform will disable all laser barriers in the area, allowing your character to cross the bridge.
Now, in control of your Resonator, cross the same bridge where the lasers were deactivated, and then enter the door leading to the next room. Defeat the enemies and continue.
You’ll encounter another puzzle that involves using the doll device to get through the laser barriers. Start with interacting with the Manipulating Dolls mechanism to switch controls.
Once you control the doll, get on the platform and release by clicking the Resonance Ability button (E for PC). Doing so will switch your control back to the Resonator and remove the laser barrier to the left.
Enter the area via the left side to find another Manipulating Dolls mechanism and platform. As before, interact with the second Manipulating Dolls mechanism to return to the doll, then drop it onto the platform to break the last laser barriers. Once done, you can continue with your Resonator.
