How to unlock Warfarer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Unlocking the Warfarer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers players a chance to master various combat skills. This vocation is the most complex to obtain, but in this guide I will guide you step by step.
How to get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must complete Lamond’s quest by traveling to Agamemnon Volcanic Island in Bakbattahl. The Warrior Summon is a relatively mid-late game summon and, while it does wonders for the player, it is especially difficult to obtain compared to other summons in the game. You may have to hold off until you are at least level 26 or higher to successfully get it.
How to get Salamander Liqueur at Higg’s Tavern Stand in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The first step in your quest to obtain a Warfarer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 involves obtaining Newt Liqueur, a crucial item for the quest. You need to go to Higg’s Tavern Stand located in Bakbattahl. Here, you can buy three bottles of Salamander Liquor for 5,000 gold each.
When I originally arrived at the Tavern, I found it locked, much to my confusion. Only later did I discover that I need to access it, and there are two ways to go about it:
- use two bags next to a fenced haystack to gain access to the Tavern without the Breastren mask on (this will trigger a fight with guards).
- Equip the mask and gain access just as easily.
Once at Higg’s Tavern Stand, interact with the bartender to make a purchase three bottles of Newt Liquor. This will cost you 15,000 gold.

Locating Lamond for the Quest to get Warfarer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2
After obtaining the Salamander Liquor, you must locate Lamond on Agamemnon Volcanic Island. Lamond will ask the Newt Liquor to help him with his problems. Once you get him the liquor, he’ll share his knowledge, giving you access to the Warrior Summons.
Make sure Lamond gives you the Grandmaster’s Path skill scroll, which is essential to take full advantage of the Warrior Summons. If he doesn’t convey it at first, a follow-up conversation should resolve this. I didn’t get it at first, but I persevered and managed to get it the second time, although this may be different for you.
