The new Volley system in Blue Lock Rivals allows you catch some ball in the air and shoot it in your desired direction. Note that if you want to make a salvo, you either need one of your teammates to cross the ball to you or accurately time it to steal your opponent’s shot. Anyway, here’s a step by step:

  1. Leave your teammate cross the ball to you.
  2. Hold your shooting bar until you reach the maximum.
  3. To aim to your desired direction.
  4. Press release As soon as the ball is near you and in the air.

As you may have guessed from above, you will need to perform all four acts in quick succession to perfectly pull out the salvation. For example, holding the shooting and releasing timely felt easier, I personally had a difficult time to aim exactly while performing the salvo. But, with practice, you are much more skilled to use this move in Blue Lock Rivals.

How to catch and perform Volley

In addition to receiving the cross of a teammate and use it as an aggressive will, you can also use this system to defend by interception and use Volley. This is how you can to make a defensive salvo:

  1. Place you between the cross of your opponents.
  2. While the ball is in the air, Hold the shooting button up to max.
  3. When it reaches over you, Release the shooting button to want it.

If you can timer this correctly, and aim before shooting, You can use this defensive salv to create an offensive opportunity for yourself. Although this might feel difficult at first, over time, using Volley will become much easier.
