How to win as Humans in Killer Klowns from Outer Space

Killer Klowns from Outer Space is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits three klowns against seven people. To win the game as a human in Killer Klowns from Outer Space, you have to escape while clowns try to stop you. However, sometimes you might manage to escape the clowns but still lose the game.

It can be frustrating to work hard and successfully make a break with your friends, only to discover that you’ve lost the game. This raises the question of what exactly counts as victory for humans and how to achieve that in Killer Klowns from Outer Space. This guide is here to help.

10 tips to win as a Human in Killer Klowns from Outer Space

Now that you know how the winning mechanics work, it’s time for some tips to get you a head start on grabbing those wins.

  1. Keep a low profile: As soon as the round starts, loot any nearby house for 30 seconds while making no noise until the encounter point is visible.
  2. Find Vanishing Points: When the rendezvous point is available, go there, and all escape points will be temporarily visible. There will probably be others you should talk to and discuss which exits you are trying to reach.
  3. Looting, looting and looting: You’ll find lots of useful items and even key escapes at the rendezvous point, so grab those. After that, go to different houses or tents to start looking for weapons, escape items, food or something else.
  4. Manage your inventory: Ideally, you want a two-handed weapon, an essential escape item, food, and a support item like an air horn, knife, or flare. Always prioritize more powerful melee weapons like axes or basketball bats over staves and guns over any melee weapon.
  5. Take smart risks: When you have equipped with a good weapon, you can consider facing Klowns if necessary but in groups or extreme situations; otherwise, avoid clowns and keep a low profile.
  6. Target Klown Weakness: Klowns have a very obvious weakness: their nose. If you manage to hit the nose, you will stun or kill them much faster, so keep that in mind.
  7. Know the maps: Once you get the basics down, it’s time to learn the maps so that when you see escape points, you know where they are and can lead your teammate there.
  8. It is good to die: Unlike other asymmetric games, hope is not lost when you or a teammate dies, as they can play minigames to give items to others.
  9. Raise the dead: When a player dies, the Resurrection Machine comes into play and is randomly placed somewhere on the map, which you can use once to revive all dead players.
  10. enjoy: Finally, enjoy the game without taking things too seriously or when your friends leave you. Unlike DBD, winning isn’t the point, having fun is.

There are three possible scenarios where people could win, and they are when both five, sixor seven people escape of the knowledge. So if you manage to escape and four others don’t, you lose the game, or if you die but five others manage to escape, you win the game.

However, if more people escape, like three or four, it will affect the overall XP points you and the clowns would get. So even if it seems impossible to win the game, try to take out as many others as possible to get more XP points to level up and give clowns less XP. Additionally, winning 10 games as a human rewards you with the achievement “Humanity Will Prosper.”
