Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 brings everything you love and adds guns for the occasion
Almost six years later, the wait is finally over: the Czech developer Warhorse Studios is back with its next game in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Or to put it another way: Henry has come to see you again (and his funny friend Hans). for good measure).
The first title did pretty well for itself but still managed to go under the radar for some (if you fall into this camp, rectify the situation immediately). Need some buzz words to burn your jimmies? Historical Skyrim. There is certainly much more than that, but that is indeed the best.
Anywho, Warhorse says they are making KCD2 because they had to scale back a lot of things for the first game. It was so smooth that I honestly didn't notice, but now that they mention it, the story was smaller in scope than we often see in RPGs. That's really refreshing in a way, but it will be good to see what they can do with a bigger budget, a bigger team (it's up to 250 now) and a grander vision this time (that's not just talk – the two new maps will be). prove twice the size of what we saw before). Its creator Daniel Vavra says that now we will see the “problems of kings” on screen, which sounds pretty exciting to me. Let's do this thing.

The most important gameplay addition we're getting ahead of time is early guns (guns to the layman), which are as visually and sonically satisfying as you could hope for.
Most of what else has been shown so far is a lot of returning features (alchemy, dice, realistic combat and the trademark witty humor), but honestly, they nailed it with the first game about as well as anyone could, so more of the same ( but greater) should not be interpreted in any way but positively. Graphically it certainly looks like a step up to an already gorgeous game as well, so that certainly doesn't hurt. Also, the biggest complaint (fighting) has been addressed. We don't have details yet (and from the trailer, it looks about the same), but I'm sure combat will be more accessible this time around, while maintaining its realism.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will launch sometime later this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Naturally, we'll be here for it.
