Marvel Rivals Tier List – Top Characters Ranked
Marvel Rivals is a popular PvP Hero Shooter, featuring over 30 different characters, including some of your favorites from Marvel comics. These also have some of the most popular names like Iron Man, Spider-Man, and many more. But, not all heroes are built the same, and some choices are better than others, So, to help you choose the right heroes, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of Marvel Rivals, including all the characters currently available.

The tier list above gives you an overview of how each character is ranked in Marvel Rivals. The S-level characters are probably the best pick for every match and can be considered meta pickswhile the D-level ones are not very useful and should generally be avoided in confrontations.
While you can make do with almost any hero, excelling in PvP situations requires a lot of practice and the skill set for each hero. If you focus on exercising with the most advanced optionsyou will have a much easier time moving up the ranks in the Ranked matches.

Adam Warlock | Strategist | + Can provide a lot of healing, and even revive teammates. + Can spawn anywhere on the map, great for tactical advantage. + DPS, HP and Mobility are great. |
Moon Knight | Duelist | + Exceptional DPS at any range, with high ATK Speed. + Great at Crowd Control with tons of CC in skills. + Ultimate can kill almost any hero in AoE. One of the, if not, the best DPS hero. |
Scarlet Witch | Duelist | + Basic attack can auto aim, with unlimited ammo. Almost broken basic attack. + Raids deal low DPS but are exceptional at taking out tanks. + Can temporarily become immune, with great mobility. + Ultimate has insanely high burst damage and AoE, though charges slowly. |

Thor | Vanguard | + High damage, and great defense. Overall a good tank fighter. + Can attack from both close and also from a distance. With AoE on Ultimate ability. – Abilities have a higher cooldown. |
Hawkeye | Duelist | + One of the best shooters, with both burst and AoE normal attacks. + Exceptional at long range and 1v1s, but lacks any defense. – Not exactly beginner-friendly. It takes some practice. |
B Tier

Magneto | Vanguard | + Excellent defense, and support skills. He can shield himself as well as his allies. + His basic attack and abilities deal decently good damage. – Ultimate takes time to charge, and can even self-destruct if not timed correctly. |
Jeff The Land Shark | Strategist | + Can heal allies as well as deal damage. + Gains temporary immunity and self-heals during sprint ability. – Shortcomings in DPS and amount of healing. |
bright | Duelist | + Has decently high DPS, but slow ATK Speed. + Can provide some crowd control, but is outmatched. – Weak ultimate, easy to close. |

Punisher | Duelist | + Decent DPS at both close and mid range. – A smoke bomb is useless, a turret is easy to destroy. – An ultimate ability requires a lot of targeting and positioning to be valuable. |
Captain America | Vanguard | + Skills decent CC and good defense. – Lacks almost any range and AoE potential. – DPS is very low, and not able to support allies. |
Psylocke | Duelist | + A strong basic attack that can reduce the CD of abilities. – Great at 1v1s, but not against multiple enemies. – Ultimate has extremely high burst damage but becomes vulnerable after casting. |
Cloak and Dagger | Strategist | + Can provide decent healing to allies. – DPS and healing are quite low. Surpassed by other healers. – Too many skills, low HP, not beginner friendly. |
Manto | Strategist | + Can provide a lot of healing and even damage to allies. – Lacks almost any offensive abilities, can only heal. – No versatility, defense or mobility. |

Loki | Strategist | – Healing is poor, and limited to AoE. – Can change to enemy heroes, but would die easily. – It takes a lot of practice to be actually useful. Not beginner friendly at all. |
Spider-Man | Duelist | – Passive abilities are weak. No value. – Just a decent close up. – Can provide CC, but requires precise aim to be useful. |
Namor | Duelist | – Depending on summon to deal most of the DPS. They die quickly. – Can become immune but for a very short duration. – Basic attack deals good damage but has a very slow attack speed, and is easy to miss. |
