Is a new GTA 6 trailer coming out in a few days? Based on a very strange poster from Rockstar Games and several other factors that line up, fans are convinced that the second trailer for GTA 6 is coming this Christmas.
The poster that Rockstar made, which is quite unusual, involves the new Willard Outreach Faction police car. This vehicle was just added to GTA Online this week. In typical Rockstar Games social fashion, they’ve been posting pictures of what’s happening this Event Week. This is normal until you look at differences between the images posted on various platforms.
On their newswire blog post and Twitterthe image they use of it shows the number plate of the new car. However, the same image shared by Rockstar on YouTubeInstagram and Facebook have a black scribble above the license plate. This is very, very strange behavior from Rockstar.
If this was a mistake, it would most likely have been caught because of how well their community team works. Nothing slips through. Why would they cover the plate? Well, the plate reads 6DW31980. If you count 6 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 27. D is also the 4th letter in the alphabet and W is the 23rd. Add them together you get 27, again.
Next, Rockstar now has 27 total public posts on his Instagram account. In addition, Rockstar Games was founded in New York on December 27, 1998. Last year we got the trailer as part of the company’s 25th anniversary.
The GTA community is now convinced that Rockstar Games will release GTA VI trailer 2 December 27th 2024. That said, Rockstar Games could totally troll the community and play into the speculation.
It just keeps going…
More complex 27 connections were also found by fans. In the first GTA VI trailer after 27 seconds, you can see a car with 27 text in the window. In addition, Rockstar Games has 20.7 million followers on Twitter now. Oh, and on the anniversary of the first trailer, they posted a picture with a Helicopter with the number 27 on the side.
There are also about 27 connections from a Rockstar Games employee’s Tweet from Thursday that are too crazy to enter because it caused some “fans” to take some unacceptable measures. Several Rockstar Games developers working on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI Tweeted images of their company’s annual gift bag featuring a GTA 6-themed sweater.
