Path of Exile 2 early access release date finally revealed
The long wait is almost over – Grinding Gear Games has finally revealed the Early Access release date for Path of Exile 2. Fans can step into the next chapter of this acclaimed action RPG on November 15, 2024.
For those who don’t know, Path of Exile 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the original Path of Exile, a free-to-play action RPG known for its intricate systems, huge skill trees, and endless character customization. Path of Exile 2 promises to build on this legacy, delivering a new campaign, improved graphics and refined game mechanics.
Starting November 15, 2024, you can be among the first to explore the dark, corrupted world of Wraeclast. Early Access will allow players to experience the new features in Path of Exile 2 and provide valuable feedback to the devs before the full release. It’s a chance to get started on character builds, learn the ins and outs of the revamped systems, and engage with the community as everyone discovers the latest content together. It might be too late to sign up for the Closed Beta, but you won’t miss out on anything else once Path of Exile 2 is in Early Access.
Path of Exile 2 features an all-new six-act campaign that takes place years after the events of the first game. Players will have the opportunity to choose from twelve character classes, each with two variants, leading to a total of 36 Ascendency classes.
The revamped skill gem system promises to make character customization easier and deeper, enabling even more creative and powerful builds. In addition to that, Path of Exile 2 features a dual-special passive skill set, improved spec and over a hundred unique boss encounters that will challenge even the most experienced players.
Mark your calendars — November 15th is just the beginning.
