PAYDAY 3 is getting ready to celebrate its first anniversary with a bang! Mark your calendars for September 16, 2024, when the much-anticipated Chapter 4, titled “Fear and Greed,” will be released as part of the Anniversary Update Part 1. This update is packed with content that will make you itch. outside the perfect heist.
If you’re a Gold Edition or Gold Pass owner, you’re in luck — you’ll have automatic access to this expansion. But don’t worry if you’re not; you can pick up chapter 4 separately on Steam (go to the store page and scroll down to Game Content when the DLC was released), Xbox Series S|X, or PlayStation 5.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Theft Pack — This includes the Stock Market Heist, where you will take your criminal skills to one of the world’s most secure financial centers. Time to play the market – literally.
- Weapons Pack — Get your hands on three new weapons, plus fresh mods and cosmetics to enhance your game.
- Tailor Package – Customize your heist with four new masks, suits and gloves. Style matters, even in the heat of a heist.
Free PAYDAY 3 content
Even if you don’t check out the DLC, PAYDAY 3 doesn’t leave anyone out of the fun. Part 1 of the Anniversary Update also includes some great free content:
- New Thief – Houston is back! After a rescue from the Courthouse, this PAYDAY 2 fan is ready to join your crew in PAYDAY 3.
- New Super Lethal Weapon —The M135 Minigun makes its grand entrance. Who doesn’t love a good minigun?
- New Masks – Because you can never have too many.
- New Twitch Drops — Watch out for exclusive goodies just by tuning into your favorite streamers.
Reddit is full of speculation about the new guns coming in the Chapter 4 DLC. Some fans think they spotted a Desert Eagle, MP5 or MPX, and a SPAS-12 shotgun in the trailer. If these points are accurate, these new guns will definitely add to the best weapons in PAYDAY 3.
Speaking of the trailer, Houston’s return also sparked some major excitement. For those who need a refresher, Houston (aka Franklin Steele) is Dallas’ younger brother and was a key character in PAYDAY 2. His return has fans eagerly anticipating what he will bring to PAYDAY 3.
