GTA 6 is still released in Fall 2025 Say by Rockstar Games’ Parent Company Take-Two Interactive. During Take-Two Interactive the Q3 2025 quarter-year earnings of interactive PresentationCEO Strauss Zelnick has discussed the success of the Rockstar Games titles over the past three months. In the previous two quarterly reports, GTA’s launch window was also still intended for Autumn 2025.
Grand Theft Auto V continue to be sold as usual
Take-Two Interactive revealed that Grand Theft Auto V sold over 210 million copies. This results from hitting 205m in November. Grand Theft Auto V usually sells an average of 5 million monthly. GTA V “exceeded Take-Two’s sales expectations.
The total sales of the Grand Theft Auto series are now at over 440 million copies worldwide, over 5 million in the past 3 months. Thanks to Sabotage Update agents in December, the game was the 5th most downloaded PS5 title in December for the United States and Canada. In total in 2024, GTA V was revealed to be the 15th best -selling game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 hits 69m copies sold
Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold an additional two million copies in the last 3 months. This means that Red Dead Redemption 2 has now sold over 69 million copies worldwide, up from 67 million in November. In total, the Red Dead series has now sold over 93 million copies, up from 92 million last time.
It was only last week that the game recorded its highest simultaneous player on Steam. After the biggest discount on Valve’s store, it flashed only for 100,000 players online at the same time. Moreover, the most downloaded PS4 game in December.
