GTA V will soon arrive at Xbox’s PC Game Pass subscription. The second best -selling game of all time has been part of Xbox Game Pass a few times over the years. Its most recent stress was from July 2023 to January 2024. That was only for Xbox consoles although and it was never available to PC players who subscribe to PC Game Pass. This aims to change thanks to a new leak.
Last year, respectable rock star Tez2 Required Rockstar game “prepares” GTA V to work with PC Game Pass. Despite Rockstar doing some preparation every month, it has not yet come to PC Game Pass.
However, Rockstar -Games has driven New update Tuesday and it brings inclusion of PC Game Pass ever closer. Within the latest update to the Rockstar Games launcher, Tez2 Spotted Support for the Xbox PC -App was added. He said they were ready for GTA V launch on PC Game Pass. This means that you will launch GTA V with the Xbox PC -App, then it will go through the Rockstar Games Launcher. It is not known if it will be the old version of GTA V, the new GTA V improved or both.
About when it joins, that’s in the air. The game is currently on PlayStation Plus and typically Rockstar will not have its games in the two console subscriptions at the same time. GTA V must leave PS+ in May. This leads me to believe that we could see it come to Game Pass after that, but that’s just guess.
Also part of the same Rockstar Games update has been improved Disk support. While it has not yet been enabled, Rockstar titles will soon have a disagreement rich in integration. For example, you will be able to see how many people play in a session and ask to join a person.
How long could it go on in a game to pass?
Typically, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are part of Xbox Game Pass for about 6 months ago or more. If GTA V actually makes its way to PC Game Pass, it would be a safe bet to assume it would have 6 months in the service.
In 2023, Xbox suffered a major document due to the court battle due to its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. It revealed just how much it costs them to get GTA V in Xbox Game Pass. The expected payment requested by Take-Two would be $ 12-15 million a month. Given that it is usually there for half a year, GTA V in Game Pass costs around $ 72-90 million each time. Xbox also had a “Wildcard” section questioning if they will make a computer in the future.
