Rockstar -Games confuse GTA 6 -rsaders with boxing sponsorship
Rockstar Games recently confused many GTA 6 fans with their boxing sponsorship again. As fans of the company and their games can’t stop dreaming of a second trailer or any information for that issue, Rockstar Games shared an unexpected post on social media.
Friday, Rockstar divided On Instagram boxing match post and caption saying ”Watch @Lucasroehrig1 – trained and managed by former World Champion @stgeorgegroves – in his second professional this – Saturday, February 1! 🥊 See it at @skysportsboxing in Britain and @PEACOCK in the United States.“This led to many followers sharing their confusion in the comments with others, even thinking that Rockstar was hacked.
However, this is not the first boxing poster they have made in the past few months. We reported on how Rockstar sponsors and comes boxer Lucas Roehrig and his coach George Groves. They even discussed what it means and GTA 6 also in a podcast. Roehrig has since updated its Instagram and Twitter Bio to feature “Sponsored by @rockstarGames”, which is quite flexible.
As for the fight, Roehrig came out by displaying the iconic Rockstar game in black and white on his vest and pants. While representing the company’s logo, the 21-year-old won the fight in just 3 rounds as the referee stopped the fight by giving him a technical knockout. His record is now 2-0 with his first struggle ending with KO in the third round.
It will be fun to see what collaboration Rockstar and Roehrig still have in the lead to GTA 6. While this sponsorship might seem a random swing of Rockstar, it doesn’t happen. They have sponsored various athletes and teams of all kinds of sports over the past 25 years.
