Royal Quest Online Classes Tier List (December 2024)
Royal Quest Online offers four main classes with a total of eight subclasses that allow players to develop different types of damage and sustain abilities. In this guide, we will provide you with a list of all the classes in the game, focusing on each subclass, including their best skills and talents.
List of All Classes for Royal Quest Online
Note that each subclass has a separate skill tree and talent tree. Each branch of the talent tree allows you to choose between two different talents, which will then create your specific character build. Practically this increases the number of possible class builds to 24 due to three branches on each talent tree, but we will only focus on the main eight classes here.
Tier | Classes |
---|---|
S | Archer: Sniper, Hunter. |
A | Warrior: Crusader, Dark Knight. |
B | Mage: Sorcerer, Sorcerer |
C | Rogue: Assassin, Thief |
S-Tier: Archer Classes
Sniper
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
High damage output; Speed and accuracy; Versatile combat tools; Ideal for ranged combat. |
Lower HP and DEF compared to melee classes; High skill ceiling. |
Choose the Sniper class for powerful and accurate ranged combat that puts you in the most advantageous position on any map. The best skills are:
- Finishing Blow deals 21-30 points of damage, with an increased chance to critically hit the target if its health is below 30%. If you have a spare Focus Point, it will deal 30% more damage, but you will have to use a gun, mortar or pistol.
- Temporal Shot deals 37-51 damage to a target, but that damage is delayed by 3 seconds.
Sniper has access to many talents, and here are the best options for even higher damage:
- Sniper deals 105-145 damage to target with 100% guarantee. Focus gain rate increases by another 100%.
- Roland X deploys a mobile automated system that follows you and attacks enemies. If you allow its cannon to dig in, the damage will increase significantly.
- Flamethrower allows you to hit enemies every 0.3 seconds for 4-6 damage automatically. The higher the Focus, the higher the damage.
Hunter
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
Tracking and searching capabilities; Camouflage and stealth; Capable skills; Interval damage. |
Lower HP and DEF compared to melee classes; High skill ceiling. |
This Archer subclass is more focused on tracking than DPS, but it can be a very effective choice for ambushing enemies in PvE and PvP. The best skills are:
- Camouflage allows you and all your allies to hide from the enemies for 30 seconds. However, if any of the party members take damage while hidden, the Camouflage will disappear.
- Animal Rage increases the chance of critical attacks and the speed of normal attacks by 30%.
The most powerful branch of Hunter is the Shooting branch, which has some very strong talents, such as:
- Reckless Shooter increases the damage after each successful critical hit by 2% (up to 8 stacks).
- Energy Control reduces your total energy consumption by 50% for 10 seconds.
A-Tier: Warrior Classes
Crusader
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
High durability; Supportive skills; Versatile fighting skills; Holy damage. |
Limited options; Slower mobility. |
This class is best for supporting and tanking their team. It is the most powerful melee class in the game, albeit a bit slow. Crusader has many abilities to choose from, and the best ones are:
- Seal: Guardian Angel increases defense by 2,250 points. Once activated, it heals 25% of your HP and makes you invincible for 2 seconds, almost saving you from lethal damage.
- Retaliation deals 29-36 damage and deals Vulnerability to all affected enemies, but no more than five. There is also a small chance to cause a Taunt. It works with all types of weapons except spears.
Of all the talent branches, these talents should be on your priority list for extreme damage and defense:
- The Blade of Aura deals 691-950 damage with one-handed or two-handed swords. The enemy will miss his next attack with a 100% guarantee.
- Aura’s Shield makes your character invincible, although you cannot take damage in this state. It continues until your Fury gauge is depleted.
- The Light of Aura heals a single ally for 30% of their HP total.
Dark Knight
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
High damage output; High durability; Unique skills; Self-sustainability. |
Vulnerable to Light damage; Limited options. |
The Dark Knight is a classic melee DPS class that uses axes, hammers and swords. Some of the most important skills are:
- Earthquake deals 16-19 damage to all enemies within 7m. The damage is increased by 35% for each Fury point and debuff on the enemy (up to 7 debuffs).
- Governance deals 25-31 damage to a single target with a two-handed weapon. If the enemy’s HP is below 20%, this damage is doubled.
The three branches, including Blood, Power and Steel, have the following main talents:
- Revitalization restores 6% of your HP for each Fury point consumed or lost.
- Mass Destruction increases the effectiveness of all mass attack skills by 10%.
- Ice Blow deals ice damage and freezes enemies, removing all their defenses.
B-Tier: Mage Classes
Wizard
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
Chaos-based damage spells; Debuffing abilities; Area control. |
Relies on spells and positioning; Resources are running out quickly; Must keep a safe distance from enemies. |
Warlock is a very powerful class, but it is also extremely fragile, requiring constant support. Here, it is important to focus not only on damage, but also on healing abilities:
- Unbridled Chaos deals 42-58 damage to all enemies within 3m range. It deals 200% damage to a target hit by Chaos Shard.
- Ties of Blood heals up to 700 points of HP.
When choosing talents, keep focusing on Chaos spells and cooldowns:
- Rune of Chaos deals an extra 50% damage to a single target.
- Rune of Hunger increases Chaos damage by 10%.
- Trance resets the cooldown times of all your spells.
Wizard
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
A diverse arsenal of spells; Elementary mastery; Healing abilities. |
Relies on spells and positioning; Resources are running out quickly; Must keep a safe distance from enemies. |
While Warlock focuses on damage, Sorcerer is more about defense. Its main mechanics are clearly visible in some of the better skill options:
- Field of Negation creates an energy dome over all your allies, protecting them from damage.
- A mirage makes you invisible while your Concentration gauge is active, although high-level enemies can still see you.
Elemental mastery should be the most important talent pool for this class, so be sure to pick the following talents:
- Crystal of the Four Elements doubles all your Heal, Fireball, Ice Arrow, Stone Spikes, or Lightning Spells.
- Circle of Healing restores the HP of up to six allies.
- Mirror of Reality reverses all enemy healing to damage and attack to healing.
C-Tier: Rogue Classes
assassin
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
High burst damage; Stealth and mobility; Human control. |
Low durability; Reliance on stealth; High skill ceiling. |
Controlling the battlefield is no easy task, but if that’s what you’re looking for, then Assassin would be a solid choice. The best skills are:
- Shadow Leap puts you into stealth mode, allowing you to move through the shadows, dealing 18-22 damage to all enemies and dealing Poison.
- Assassin’s Strike deals 22-27 damage to a single target. This damage is increased by 30% for each poison or bleeding effect.
When choosing a talent pool for an Assassin, consider those that improve various stats:
- Vortex of Strikes increases attack speed and critical hit by 30%.
- Shadow Dungeon makes you and your enemy invisible to everyone else.
- The strike of a vampire deals 29-35 damage to a single target, restoring that much HP to your character.
Thief
Advantages | Cons |
---|---|
High mobility; Stolen skills; Human control. |
Low durability; Reliance on stealth; High skill ceiling. |
Think of a Thief as an Assassin but with the ability to loot enemies, which makes it quite a difficult class to play. But it still has some great capabilities to consider:
- Robbery deals 18-22 damage to a single target and allows you to loot them. Each Cunning point increases this damage by 25%.
- A sip of Booze restores 21-26 HP, but you gain Agility for 5 seconds. Each Cunning point increases the healing effect by 7%.
As for the talents, be sure to check out the following options that increase Thief’s damage:
- Throwing Weapons deals 40-49 damage to a single target and decreases their movement speed by 55% and attack speed by 40%.
- beating deals 11-13 damage to a single target and causes Bleed which reduces their healing ability by 50%.
- Dissection increases all Bleed and Open Wound damage by 20%.
