Should you seek help and send news to the outside world in Alone in Peril – Honkai Star Rail
Alone in Peril is a segment under the Honkai: Star Rail Trailblaze Continuance Mission, Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue (II). As a hostage under Hoolay’s command, you will play Jiaoqiu’s POV and must make a big decision whether to seek help or not. I will walk you through the outcome of both choices.
All dialogue results in Alone in Peril – Honkai Star Rail
During this quest segment, there is an optional task to “seek help and send news to the outside.” It can be done by talking to three NPCs marked by the quest navigator. Talking to the NPCs, some dialog options will be marked in red. Selecting the red dialogue options will prompt Jiaoqiu to ask for help. But should you?
Realm-Keeping Orderly
When talking to the Order-Keeping Realm, you can choose to ask for help (red dialog option) or decline the conversation. This is the only choice in the conversation that matters.
If you choose to ask for help, you can either find Borisin hiding nearby or introduce yourself as Jiaoqiu and broadcast the same news. Either choice will lead to the Realm-Keeping Orderly finding a soldier. Meanwhile, if you choose to decline the conversation, then it will end without any mention of the Borisin.
Cloud Knights Soldier
The Cloud Knights Soldier is stationed by the Synwood Pavillion Space Anchor. If you choose to ask for help (red dialogue), you can either state that Borisin is hiding nearby or introduce yourself as Jiaoqiu. The soldier will recognize you as the Yaoqing messenger in both cases and call for reinforcements.
However, if you choose to decline the conversation, the soldier will tell you to come for help if needed, and the dialogue sequence will end without mentioning the Borisin.
Starskiff Pilot
The conversation with the Starskiff Pilot will begin when you ask about the Starskiff’s quarters. You can choose any option without affecting the story. Next, you can select the option “Can we calm this down?” (red dialog), which will trigger a sequence about asking for help. You will have two dialog options later.
- “Can you give me a ride out of here?”
- The pilot will inform you that the initial fare costs six jets and that you have no money. You will then be asked to withdraw money first.
- “Could you deliver a message to the Sphere Preservation Commission for me?”
- The pilot will nonchalantly inform you that the Sphere Conservation Commission is just ahead and that you should go there yourself.
Both dialog options will result in absolutely no assistance from the Starskiff Pilot.
Suspicious Ferryman
Unlike the previous NPCs, the conversation with the Suspicious Ferryman is required to move the story forward. Your choices in this dialog sequence will not affect the story and will always result in the same outcome, so you are free to choose any option. There are also no red dialogue options everywhere.
What happens if you choose to ask for help in Alone in Peril – Honkai Star Rail
If you choose to ask one of the NPCs for help in Alone in Peril, returning to Hoolay to advance the quest objective will trigger an additional story segment with Mok Tok. The Soldier of the Cloud Knights will appear in the place, because he thought that Mok Tok is a captain who can help you.
Hoolay will remind you that you were never given permission to talk to others and imply that the people you were talking to died because of you. Afterwards, a crack of bones will echo in the courtyard, signifying that the people you were talking to have been eliminated. You can completely avoid the tragic death of the NPCs by not asking for help. Anyway, the story will push forward without any implications against Hoolay or benefit to the generals, because the Cloud Knights Soldier got the wrong reinforcements.
