Sol’s highly anticipated RNG Era 8.5 update has officially arrived across all platforms bringing many major additions such as new auras, items, and most importantly, the Summer event. So without further ado, here’s a detailed breakdown of Sol’s RNG Era 8.5 patch notes.
All Solo RNG Era 8.5 Expert Notes
Auras
First of all, Sol’s RNG Era 8.5 is a minor update, which means that developers have only added a single new Era known as Ruins. It has a drop of 1 in 500 million. Fortunately, the developers also heard its community voice and reworked auras like “Flying Dutchman”, “Oblivion” and “Memory”.
- New Aura Released: A new aura called “Ruins” is now available, with a rare drop rate of 1 in 500 million.
- Rewrites: The “Flying Dutchman”, “Oblivion” and “Memory” auras have been reworked.
- Description Changes: Descriptions for “Disgust” and “赤い満月” have been updated, serving as a preview for the upcoming world story.
Gear & Items
- New Items: New items have been added to the game.
- changes:
- The appearance of the Exoflex Device has been reworked.
- Balances for certain items have been adjusted:
- Empty Coin: Exchange rate changed from 100P to 250P.
- Forgetting Potion: Luck effect increased from +350,000 to +500,000.
- Carnal Apparatus: Bonus roll multiplier increased from 1.3 to 1.35.
Various
- Game adjustments:
- The “Controller” and “Randomizer” can no longer remove the Glitch biome.
- The Stat Tracker now only detects global exposures.
- New Game Pass: A new game pass, including “Merchant Teleport”, has been released.
Summer Event:
- The first part of the Summer Event has started, featuring Lime & Jake’s quests.
- Event-specific items include 2 types of event kits, 2 types of event items, and 1 type of event history.
- During the event, players can get a total of 3 limited time auras.
