South Park Snow Day Upgrades Tier List
Upgrades are always welcome in South Park Snow Day, giving me an advantage over enemy units and letting me support my allies in times of need. To help you choose the best upgrades before and between levels, I’ve created the ultimate upgrades leveler list!
Best South Park Snow Day Updates, Ranked
The tier list below contains all the upgrades in South Park Snow Day, ranked from the most useful to the ones you’d rather avoid. Since the Upgrade selection is random, you never know what Jimmy will offer you in front of each gate. Even if the Upgrade you choose is not that powerful, you can still increase its rarity and level with Henrietta or by collecting Power upgrades from chests.
Tier | Updates |
---|---|
S | Blast Wave, Double Tap, Flame Balls, Last Blast |
A | Dead Stop, Rough Ride, Long Shot, Stink Shaft, Tesla Coil, Chain Lightning, Last Stand, Shield Charge, Square Scrounger, Multishot, It’s Pee |
B | Counter Aura, Greater Bubble, Static Blast, Backstab, Flying Daggers, Hemorrhage, Bad Blood, Vortex, Napalm, Infinite Wrath, I’m Rubber…, Counter Strike, Paragon, Ricochet, Gasy Glider |
C | Bitter Bubble, Rubber Bubble, Thirsty Cracker, Molotov Cocktail, Pickpocket |
D | Leeching Flames, Defensive Perimeter, Omni Block |
S level
- Flaming Balls – Snow Towers are already among the most useful Powers. With the Flaming Balls upgrade, the turrets shoot flaming snowballs in bursts of five and at a range of 20. Powering up this Upgrade will only make the turrets much more devastating, making it an easy top pick.
- Double tap – This is the best choice if you use a Bow as your weapon of choice. Double Tap virtually eliminates the lock time giving you the ability to fire an arrow instantly. The arrow leaves an explosion damaging enemies and lets you shoot the next one immediately.
A-Tier
- Multi shot – The perfect Upgrade for Legolas wannabes, Multishot adds an extra arrow to your bow attack, albeit with reduced damage. Boosting the Upgrade increases the number of extra arrows and increases damage, making your Bow the ultimate weapon.
- Square Scrouger – Toilet paper is a crucial currency to upgrade cards or change Jimmy’s choice. Square Scrounger causes enemies to drop 50+ percent more Toilet Paper to spend on Upgrade boosts, helping you beat missions on harder difficulties.
B-Tier
- Paragon – Your health bar is full, but your companions are in danger. With the Paragon, you can jump into the fray and deal 40+ percent more damage as long as your health bar remains filled. As soon as you take damage, you’ll need to plant a Health Totem or collect some Cheese Puffs to maximize your damage.
- I am Rubber… – If you play a classic Sword & Shield melee combo, you’ll need to make the most of the block option. With I’m Rubber…, you’ll make all the reflected projectiles explode in the faces of your enemies. On the downside, you’ll need to perfect your block timing, or else you’ll render this Upgrade useless.
C-Tier
- Molotov Cocktail – Every time you empty your Wand flamethrower attack, you’ll drop a Molotov cocktail that explodes when hit. Sounds perfect in theory, but in practice you have to be the one to blow it up because the enemies just walk over it. This severely limits the usefulness of the Upgrade, dropping it to a C level.
- Thirsty Cleaver – The Two-Handed Ax is perfect for players who prefer the heavy hitting playstyle, but they won’t be able to dodge attacks as easily. The Thirsty Cleaver Upgrade allows you to restore four health points when you use the Air Slam but at the cost of cutting your HP bar in half. If you’re good at avoiding damage, you’ll love this Update—otherwise, it’s best to avoid this one.
D level
- Omni Block – Blocking is an underrated feature of the Sword & Shield melee weapon. With Omni Block, you’ll heal while recovering Block Tokens a little faster. The thing is, you’ll never be able to stand in one place for more than a few seconds, especially during boss fights. Use your Upgrade option to choose something more useful.
- Leech of Flames – Do you want to trade health? With Leeching Flames, you’ll be able to fire orbs from your Staff at a cost of five HP points, but hitting the enemy will steal two of their HP points. Doesn’t that sound appealing? I thought not.
