The co -founder of Rockstar Games, Dan Houser, recently revealed his first book complete with details, cover art and date of edition. It is the first delivery in a series in one of the new franchises he has created since leaving the iconic company, which he has helped create. In addition to several other Rockstar Games veterans, Houser has formed a multimedia company Absurd Ventures, who work on games, books, podcasts and more.
First details
Houser was the master writer in over 20 video games including most of the GTA and Red Dead Redemption Games, but now he appears a book called: Better Paradise Volume One: Sequel.
It is based on the better paradise IP, which he created recently. So far we have only seen it as a podcast, which starred Andrew Lincoln as the protagonist Mark Tyburn. The book adapts the podcast revealing more details about the Tyburn Utopias video game project.
According to a Press release Houser’s debut novel will be published by Absurd Ventures Press at the same time in print, ebook and audiobook on Tuesday, October 14 with a distribution in the United States and Britain by Simon & Schuster. It is 464 pages long.

Dan Houser released a rare statement along with the press release:

The press release explains that Better paradise volume one: sequel Is set in the new feature and tell readers a story “About the unlucky development of an ambitious but toxic video game project, which goes very wrong. As the software they have developed is starting to produce unexpected and anxious results, the project is closed and left abandoned and not discovered. So far.”
