The Dragon Odyssey Class Tier List – Best Starting Class

The Dragon Odyssey is a popular RPG with a unique and fantasy world full of Sprites and Monsters. When you start your journey, you are given the choice of class for your character from seven choices. As you progress, this class also evolves with you. So, to help you make the best choice and pick the strongest starting class in The Dragon Odyssey, we’ve compiled this detailed class list.

Tier class
S Mage
A Priest, Gunner
B Berserker, Warlord, Succubus
C a prophet

The top level list gives you an overview of each class in The Dragon Odyssey. The S-level class is by far the best choice, while the C-level one is not as strong as the others, and will make you have a harder time progressing through the game.

If you are unhappy with your character, you can either switch to a different character account or restart your current account completely. Currently, there is no other way to change your class in The Dragon Odyssey.

S Tier Classes – Best Classes in The Dragon Odyssey

Below, we have mentioned why the classes in this tier are worthy of their rank:

class Promotion Reason
Mage Wizard, Wizard + Best damage dealer, and AoE DPS in The Dragon Odyssey.
+ Decent survivability, and beginner-friendly.
+ When promoted to Warlock, becomes extremely strong at PvP.

A Tier Classes

class Promotion Reason
priest Sage, Seer + Decent DPS, but great survivability. Even better when promoted to Sage.
+ Not beginner friendly, but great at team events with insane healing.
Gunner Cannoneer, tactician + Extremely strong AoE class, but lacking in PvP.
+ Best for PvE game modes and clearing mobs. Even better when promoted to Cannoneer.

B-Tier Classes

class Promotion Reason
Berserker Guardian, destroyer + High HP and Defense, best played as tanks. Even better if promoted to Guardian.
Lacks DPS and attack damage. Dependent on Sprites and team.
Warlord Guardian, destroyer + High HP and ATK, best played as a fighter. Even better if promoted to Destroyer.
Lacks defense and overall damage. Similar to Berserker.
succubus Reaper, Slayer + Extremely high burst damage and DPS. Excels at PvP, if promoted to Slayer.
Lacks almost any survivability, so very bad at PvE.

C Tier Classes

class Promotion Reason
a prophet Sage, Seer Lacks DPS and Survivability. Feasible if promoted to Seer.
Healing is not high, completely dependent on Sprites and teammates.
