The Dragon Odyssey Sprites Tier List & Reroll Guide

The Dragon Odyssey is a popular RPG, set in a world spread by mythical creatures called Sprites. These Sprites can be summoned, and are your most reliable companion to become the strongest. But, with over 30 different Spirits to unlock and invest in, it can be quite confusing to choose the right one. So, to help you out with that, we’ve compiled this detailed list for every Sprite in The Dragon Odyssey.

The top level list gives you an overview of every Sprite currently available in The Dragon Odyssey. The S-level Sprites are the top UR raritieswhile the D-level Sprites are the easy ones to get without much growth potential.

If you don’t have any of the good SSR or UR characters, you can choose either invest your resources on the better SR ranked Sprites or reroll your accounts completely. Investing in inferior Sprites leads to a waste of resources, so it is better to avoid them. Rather they can only to be used as development fodder.

S Tier Sprites – Best Sprites in The Dragon Odyssey

+ Best wind-type, with both Awakening and Transformation abilities.
+ Can deal high DPS, and also cause “Armor Break” effects.
Dragonlord UR + Strongest ground type Sprite, and the best tank in The Dragon Odyssey.
+ Has insanely high HP and Endurance stats, best as a front line.
+ Can become temporarily invincible while casting a skill.
Shadowflame Wyrm UR + Strongest fire-type Sprite, and the best AoE damager in The Dragon Odyssey.
+ Has extremely high Intelligence and Strength stats, best for DPS.
+ Can deal massive AoE damage, with “Slay” effects when using skills.
Wash Lord SSR + A good fire-type Sprite, with some AoE potential.
+ When you use a skill, can cause a “Delayed DMG” effect.
+ Best at PvP to take our opposing players with skill effects.
Crow Priest SSR + One of the best fire-type Support Sprites.
+ Can increase CRIT Input as well as ATK stats significantly when casting a skill.
+ Has evolutionary potential, and synergy with other fire types.
Phantom Captain SSR + Best wind type DPS SSR Sprite.
+ Can do a lot of damage, with a huge AoE.
+ When ability is triggered, also causes AoE CC from stunning enemies.
Shadowblaze Behemoth SSR + Second best land type tank.
+ Huge DMG reduction buff from triggering skill.
+ Reduces damage to more than half. Extremely strong in any way.

A Tier Sprites

+ Can tank well, while also dealing sustainable CC.
+ Has a chance to ‘Stun’ enemies, multi-target.
Thornelia SSR + A strong AoE-based fire-type Sprite.
+ Can inflict a lot of “Burn” debuff on enemies after a skill trigger.
+ Has development potential, and good fire-type armory.
Dune ranger SSR + Good frontline DPS, great at taking out tanks.
+ Best shield, dealing 5x damage to shielded enemies.
+ Good stat growth, and synergy with other wind types.
Silverscale SSR + Extremely AoE burst damage potential with the right setup.
+ Can cause widespread CC by causing “Root” debuff.
+ Easy to get, and great synergy with many Sprites.
Twilight Weaver SSR + A strong wind-type Sprite with a lot of AoE.
+ Can draw enemies towards you while taking damage.
+ Works well with almost any wind type Sprite layout.
Gold hammer SSR + Excellent at dealing with Group CC by causing ‘Stun’.
+ Can take out hordes of enemies, while also dealing tanky damage.
+ Almost guaranteed CC with AoE. Great for wind type synergy.
Miss Mushroom SSR + Decent terrain type support Sprite.
+ Can provide decently high healing to the character.
+ Can also dispel CC effects and increase CC resistance.
Tide-caller SSR + One of the best supported type Sprites.
+ Increases all types of DMG dealt by a character, increasing overall DPS.
+ Can provide instant HP recovery as well as Regen over time.

B Tier Sprites

Abyssal Envoy SSR + Has AoE Potential in ability, with decent DPS.
+ Fire-type supports Sprite, but can only cause minor damage.
Ability damage is low, and causes ‘Healing Reduction’. Not versatile.
Obsidian Warrior SSR + Can cause Group CC, causing “Slow” deterioration.
+ Decent DPS, and stat growth.
Worst wind-type SSR, with lackluster skill.
Ancient Golem SSR + Can reflect DMG when ability is triggered.
+ Decent tank, with shielding abilities. High HP and Endurance.
Damage reflection effect lasts too short to be useful.
Raging Giant SSR + A decent ground type tank Sprite.
+ Can provide a high HP shield to the character.
Makes you vulnerable to Shields and Armor.
Nymphalina Mr + Similar to Raven Priest, a good fire-type support Sprite.
+ Can temporarily increase a character’s ATK and CRIT Rate, decently.
Has minor development potential and low stat growth.
Sylph Mr + Best SR character to invest in The Dragon Odyssey.
+ Great at CC with ‘Freeze’ debuff infliction. Good late game potential.
Limited stat growth due to SR rarity.
Nether Tri-Cat Mr + Decent AoE potential, with subpar DPS.
+ Can cause minor “Armor Break” damage to enemies.
Has no development potential and low stat growth.

C Tier Sprites

Very skill dependent, doesn’t support DPS for long.

Purple Siren Mr + Can dispel a debuff on a character. Subpar AoE on ability.
Capable CD is huge. Not versatile, and has no synergy.
Has no development potential, and inferior stats.
Tendrilmancer Mr + Has AoE potential, with CC in skills.
Human control ability is not that useful in most modes.
Has no development potential and non-superior stats.
Infernal Wolf Mr + Can deal sustained DPS, with decent ATK.
Takes too long to complete the skill.
Has no development potential, and inferior stats.
Frostclaw Scorpion Mr + Can provide healing, but limited to the percentage of DMG dealt.
Low DPS and ATK, so healing is meaningless.
Has no development potential, and inferior stats.
Ruin Statue Mr + Can reflect 20% of DMG taken.
Ability to reflect damage is very low.
Has no development potential, and inferior stats.
Flameborn Spirit R + Decent for early game, and if evolved.
Has minor development potential and low stat growth.
Very overmatched in mid to late game.

D Tier Sprites

Shadow Claw R Decent ability damage reduction, but that’s it. Better use as fodder.

poison shell R AoE range is small. DPS does not exist. Use as ground feed.

Furaney N Only viable for use as developmental fodder.

How to reroll in The Dragon Odyssey?

If you can’t get your hands on your desired Sprites, then there isn’t much left for you to do. But, don’t let that discourage you, because you still have the option to roll back. It is two ways to reroll in The Dragon Odysseyhere’s how you can do each:

Change Character

The first, and simpler way to reroll in The Dragon Odyssey is to create and switch to another character. you can have up to five different characters accounts Here’s how to do that:

  1. Go to Menuso select Settings on the right corner of the screen.
  2. From the list of options, select the ‘Change character’ option. Then press ‘Confirm.’
  3. Once confirmed, log in again, and select ‘Create a character.’

Once you create a new character, you have new account to claim rewards and summon Sprites. If you get your desired Sprite, continue playing that character.

Account deletion

The alternate option for you is to delete your current account and create a brand new one in The Dragon Odyssey. Note that you should log in with a ‘Guest Account’ to do this. if you have, then follow these steps to roll back:

  1. Go to Menuso select Settings on the right corner of the screen.
  2. From the list of options, select the ‘User Center’ option.
  3. From the following options, select the ‘Delete account’ option.
  4. Select a reason for deletion. If can’t decide, select ‘Other’. Then press ‘Next’.
  5. Read the terms, and press ‘Next’ followed by confirmation to successfully delete your account.

Once done, restart the game and log in again to create a new account. Additionally, you can do this if you’ve exhausted all five character creations and still don’t have your perfect Sprite team. Then you will have five more attempts.

Once you’ve rerolled your account, you can complete the tutorials, and some of the Mirrorworld stages to get enough Eggs to make one or two 10x summons. Here is the drop rate to help you understand the odds of pulling a good SSR:

  • SSR rare drop rate: 2.5%
  • SR rare drop rate: 55%
  • R-rare drop rate: 30%
  • N-rare drop rate: 12.5%
