As we approach May 4th, Star Wars Day, more and more leaks are coming in about the traditional Fortnite x Star Wars crossover. This time, the focus is on the Rebel Alliance, where you can expect Chewbacca and General Leia to arrive. But there's more, because the Force is strong in Fortnite this year.
According to Hypex, thanks to a new costume and Mythic, you will be able to look like Chewbacca and fight using his legendary Bowcaster! You can expect at least one new Mythic (Wookie Bowcaster) as well as the return of lightsabers and Force abilities. A Princess Leia Fortnite skin is also coming, but in the form of General Leia Organa. We're sure she'll quickly become one of Fortnite's best female skins.

Interestingly, this year's Fortnite x Star Wars event will also cover new modes: Rocket Race, Festival and LEGO Fortnite. Although not much is known, we can only hope that we will see podracers in which Anakin Skywalker won his first race. As for the Festival, there's only one thing on everyone's mind—the band Cantina! So enjoy the Avatar Elements event, like the Star Wars crossover is coming on May 5, 2024.
