In Tower Defense RNG on Roblox, you can only place a limited number of towers around the map. Towers should be combined with Traps for an effective matchup, but it’s hard to know which Towers to invest in. With this guide, you’ll know which Towers to keep and which to swap out as soon as possible.
All Towers in Roblox Tower Defense RNG, Ranked
There are a total of 18 Towers in Tower Defense RNG on Roblox, giving you a lot of units that you could possibly roll. The problem is that you have no control over which towers you get due to the RNG system in the game.
As you continue to play and roll more Towers, you’ll be left wondering which features you should spend money on to roll.

S level
Dark Terra – Although rare, the Dark Terra Tower does 10,000,000 damage with a range of 25. It fires once per second, ensuring that the enemies running towards the Exit won’t have much of a chance to get very far. However, you need to be level 17 to get this Tower, and it can take many hours of gameplay to reach that level.
Obliterator – The second most powerful Tower in Tower Defense RNG, the Deletion can deal 20,000,000 points of damage. It is a slower Tower, however, so be sure to take that into account when positioning it. The Obliterator can only fire once every four seconds, and has a range of 20 – which is on the smaller side of the available ranges that other Towers have.
Proton Sniper – The Proton Sniper is not only the most powerful Tower in Tower Defense RNG, it is also one of the fastest, and it has one of the largest ranges. You can expect this Tower to hit your enemies every 0.5 seconds with 390,000,000 points of firepower!
A-Tier
Cataclysm – You won’t start running the Cataclysme Tower until you reach level 22, but the 0.8 second fire rate will definitely help you cut your enemies down to size. However, it is not as strong as the Towers in S level, so I downgraded it to A level.
Hydro Blaster – Like the Cataclysme, the Hydro Blaster doesn’t quite have the stats to be an S-tier Tower. It only deals 4,500,000 points in damage, and fires every two seconds. This is comparable to the 5,000,000 damage of the Cataclysme, although the Cataclysme fires faster.
Orb of Darkness – The Orb of Darkness certainly deserves its place as an A-tier Tower. With 5,000,000 damage, it matches the other A-level Towers, although it has greater range of 33which will help you cover more area than other Towers will.
Revenge – Vengeance also does 5,000,000 points of damage – are you seeing a theme here? It matches perfectly with the other Tier A Towers, although it takes longer to fire at your enemies than the others in this tier.
B-Tier
Infrared – Infrared is a decent Tower that you won’t need to wait too long to get into the game. At level 10, you will start seeing this Tower on your scrolls. It fires every 0.8 secondswhich is significantly faster than many other Towers in the game, and it can target three enemies at once. The only reason it doesn’t rank lower on this list is because of its speed and the number of enemies it can target.
Plasma Canon – The Plasma Cannon can only hit one target at a time, but it meets the B-level requirements because it does 500,000 damage and has a range of 30! This is definitely the best Tower in B tier, and would absolutely be in A tier if it was a bit more powerful.
Volcano – The Volcanic Tower can do more damage than the Plasma Cannon, but its range is lacking. Although it can do 1,000,000 points of damage, it has a range of 22, so it is not as strong or versatile as the Towers in B tier.
C-Tier
Dual shot – With 30,000 damage, you might be wondering why the Dualshot Tower isn’t in B tier with the Infrared Tower. That’s because it can target only one enemy at a timemaking it a pretty useless Tower to have later in your game. Not as useless as the Towers in D tier though.
Flamethrower – The Flamethrower might sound like it will be a great Tower to have in your game, but its stats are lackluster. It only does 1,330 damage per shot, and can fire every second. It is stronger than the D-level Towers though.
Rocket Launcher – Like the Flamethrower, the Rocket Launcher is right where it needs to be. It’s a bit weaker than the Flamethrower, only capable of doing 1,000 damage, and it can only fire every two seconds. Its saving grace is its splash target zone, which allows it to hit more enemies at once.
D level
Laser Explosive device – The strongest of the D-tier Towers, the Laser Blaster can deal 750 damage every second when firing at your enemies. Having this, the Orb of Light and Tesla is a great set of Towers for your early game matchups.
A minigun – It does 10 damage. Remove it as soon as you see other Towers coming through the RNG system.
Orb of Light – 250 damage and a firing rate of 0.75 seconds, the Orb of Light is one of the best D-tier Towers out there. When you set up your map in the early game, this Tower will help you stay alive longer.
Tesla – At 30 damage, the Tesla is one of the better early game Towers, but it definitely deserves its place in D-tier with the stats it has. It can target three enemies though, so I’d advise that too this Tower, the Laser Blaster, or the Light Sacrifice if you have to choose a Tower from the D level list.
turret – A level 1 tower that you should trade as soon as possible, the Tower does seven damage. I don’t think I need to say more than that.
