How to get a Hybrid race in Type Soul
Although the Halloween update has already been removed, the Hybrid race type is still added to the base game. Yes, the developers discussed this part in the Discord channel and asked the community about the requirements/criteria they prefer to get the Hybrid race in the game. After much discussion and polling, the final criteria for receiving the Hybrid race were set as follows.
- 40 Clan Wins, 100 Ranked Winsor 50 Battle Royale Wins.
So, if you meet any of the above criteria, you are eligible to get the Hybrid race in the game. We will update the article with more information once developers add the content and players start getting the Hybrid race in the game.
Is the Hybrid race good in Type Soul?
According to the patch notes, it seems as though the Hybrid race won’t be as good, as there are several downsides to going this route. I have listed each of them below.
- You cannot obtain or use the True form
- 20% under fashion drain
- 25% mode drain
- You cannot equip and use any Ultra Skills
- 10% Degradation in Ranked PvP
While all of these drawbacks are bad, I mainly disliked the 10% damage in ranked matches and the inability to use True+ Ultra Skills, as both of these are crucial factors in some PVP battles or, in general, usage. Because of this, this race type may not be that useful and can only be used to grind PVE missions.

- Quincycar: This Quincy Hybrid race allows you to fire Bogen shots infused with Cero Oscuras. The best part is that you can use the Siphon HP of the target’s Cero and give it back to the player as lifesteal.
- anomaly: Anamoly is a Hybrid Race typing for Soul Reapers. Following this path allows the SR players to gain powers from both Hollow and Quincy weapons along with your Shikhai. Additionally, you can switch between Blut Vene and Hierro.
- Vastoquin: For the Arracncar Hybrid race, you will get an unstable version of Letztsil which will increase your Letzt drain and resurrection drain while boosting all Vasto variants buff.
