Notoriety is back in Roblox after so long and has been rebranded as an official PAYDAY experience. The gameplay is just as you remember it excluding some functional changes to some stealth, weapons, armor and more. In this guide, you’ll find the best weapons, builds, skills, and controls to use in Roblox Notoriety.

Best Weapons in Notoriety Roblox

Start with the most important tool in a shooting game: weapons. You can equip a primary and secondary weapon in Notoriety PAYDAY. New weapons were added and the availability of some existing ones was mixed. Below I’ve listed the best weapon options to use in the game that don’t require a game pass (because not everyone owns one).

Best Primary Weapons

If you own a gamepass subscription, try using the Crossbow for your next stealth heist. It has unmatched stealth, damage, and accuracy that make it great for sneaky missions. In addition, the M16 (the default weapon) is perfect for beginners as it has balanced stats and is quite powerful. That’s why I don’t recommend rush purchases; instead, wait until you have enough to buy a good gun.

Best Secondary Weapons

Switching to your secondary weapons when you run out of bullets is always a preferred tactic of experienced players. After the recent changes, some good primary weapons like the P90 and UMP45 have been moved to the secondary category. Now you can carry two cool weapons at the same time, but that’s not necessary as the standard G17 is reliable and does a good job anyway.

Best Skills in Notoriety Roblox

The skill tree in Notoriety has four classes with several unique skills below them. Each ability serves a specific purpose and it’s up to the player to choose which one they require based on their playstyle and the heist setting. For example, Mastermind and Ghost skill trees feature the best skills for a stealth-focused build. That said, I’ve listed some fundamental skills that prove useful in most cases below.

Mastermind

• Cable Guy: With this perk, you can bind civilians 50 percent faster, which is extremely useful and necessary for stealth heists in places like banks and shops.
• An apple a day: This gives you +25 HP, but the key is ace the skill (by spending an extra point) so you get 30 percent extra stamina.
• Doctor: Healer cuts the revive time in half so you can pick off your teammates much faster.
• Extra Provisions: This is a must-have benefit when using the Medical Kit equipment in your loadout. It allows you to use the Medical Kit up to four extra times when you do.
• scarecrow: The range to take a hostage is greatly increased. Ace this and you can take a civilian hostage just by shooting near them, preferably with a silenced gun.

Enforcer

• Pack Animal: An essential advantage for all scenarios because it reduces the weight of the bags by half. When it reaches it, it allows you to grab the bag immediately without the usual delay.
• A fighter: Switching to and from melee weapons is twice as fast and you move 5 percent faster with melee equipped. This is another very crucial skill to acquire in this category.
• Shock and Awe: With this perk you can penetrate shields and even deal triple the damage to armor when you reach. In addition, your resistance to flashes increases.
• Shotgun CQB: A no-brainer for players using a Shotgun, as it increases the reload speed by 35 percent.
• Oppressor: Now that SAW has been moved to the gadgets category, it will become even more popular among gamers. Use this ability to silence the weapon and improve its concealment by five points.

Technician

• Silent Drill: This new ability is indispensable for bank heists where you want to drill safes without alerting anyone.
• Drill Technician: Deploying a drill takes half the time and when achieved, this ability improves the drill operation speed by 10 percent.
• Department of IT: Fixing a stuck drill takes 50 percent less time than usual. Once this ability is achieved, you can simply hit the drill with your melee to restart it.

Ghost

• Duck and Cover: You can regenerate stamina 25 percent faster and also sprint 25 percent faster after this ability is achieved.
• Parkour: Another important movement perk that gives you 10 percent movement speed and the ability to recharge while sprinting.
• Infiltrator: Equipping this ability allows you to open doors with a single kick. You can upgrade this to an ace for two bonus stealth points and a 100 percent boost to lock pick speed.
• chameleon: This ability spots the special enemies for you even when your mask is not on. In addition, you can interact with objects in wrapper mode after this ability is achieved.
• Law pigeon: This skill makes moving the bags much easier, as you can throw the bags twice as far and carry two bags at once when this skill is achieved.
• ECM Overdrive: The ECM Device is a powerful device that players often use and you can increase its life by 25 percent with this ability.
• Specialist in ECM: Carry two ECMs with this perk and ace it for an additional 25 percent life boost (pairs well with the last ability).

Ghost has many useful abilities, therefore, mentioning all the dominant ones was important even if the list became long. You can list the ones you like the most from the set according to your preference.

Notoriety Best Builds – Stealth and Loud

There are mainly two ways stealth can go in Notoriety Roblox PAYDAY: stealth like a ninja or guns blazing. While some heists have a set approach, other times it’s the player’s choice as to how they want to proceed with the heist. Regardless, I have some good build recommendations for both scenarios.

Best Stealth Build in Infamy

I gave options for weapons so that players who haven’t unlocked the expensive guns still have something good to rock. For the melee, getting the Excalibur would be a crutch because it has great stealth, however it is expensive at $2.5 million. Make sure that a silencer attachment (see image above) is a must for your guns.

Throwing Knife is convenient for stealth missions, but it now has a strong competitor: SAW. Equip the SAW if you want, especially on bank heists with safes, but don’t forget to equip the Oppressor Technician skill to silence it. The skill set I provided will give you the best stealth experience in Notoriety.

I’ve left out some useful skills here because to get those, you have to unlock previous levels, and I don’t think spending too many points on those skills is reasonable. For example, Silent Drill is very lucrative in the Technician tree, but you have to unlock two extra levels to get to it. If you still want this skill, get IT Section and Focus first. Similarly, Fighter (Enforcer) is important but to get it, I had to get the not so desirable Loud n Proud skill first.

You’re better off spending the points on the unmissable Ghost abilities I mentioned above. Armor has been significantly nerfed in Infamy and equipping one reduces your movement speed, so there’s no point in choosing anything other than the default Outfit.

Best Loud Build in Notoriety

If you want to go in with a bang, you have to be prepared to fend off the guards and police reinforcements. This loud build will help you deal with them effortlessly thanks to the powerful Shotgun-SMG combo. The Knife is my melee of choice, but I can’t wait to get my hands on the newly added Riot Shield.

For the equipment, I went with the Medical Kit because it will allow me to heal when needed. In addition, I improved its abilities with some abilities such as Extra Supplies and Doctor. Since you will be facing countless enemies, put on armor with some replenishing properties (again thanks to the skill tree).
