Ultimate Strinova Map Guide – Professional Game Guides
With over 10 different maps, spread across three game modes, there’s a lot of ground to cover in the popular third-person shooter, Strinova. Especially if you are a beginner, raising your rank can be quite difficult if you don’t adapt your gameplay according to the mode and map. So, to help you with that, we’ve created this ultimate map guide for Strinova, which covers all the best locations, agents, tricks, and much more for every map currently available in the game.
Demolition Mode Maps
The Demolition Mode is one of the most popular modes in Strinova. This is also the mode with the highest number of maps, knowing your way around each of these maps can be extremely advantageous for any player. Below we’ve listed each of the maps in this mode, how you should play on them, along with the best agents to pick on the maps and even the right places to hold and search.
Base 404
There are two objective locations on both sides of the map, near the Power Room and the Central room. If you are an attacker, your best strategy would be to avoid the predictable side corridors and instead use the central area to infiltrate either A or B of your team’s choice. Similarly, as a defender, guarding around the Training Range can be a good strategy.
Since this is similar to Search and Destroy, avoid using Snipers unless you are extremely confident, as there are no respawns. The best agents to choose would be high damage attacks or shotguns like Ming and Bai Mo.
Area 88
Unlike Base 404, Area 88 is a much wider map, providing sufficient area for most Agent types. Your strategy as both teams should be to hold tactical points, especially around point B near the Monument where it is difficult for the opponent to target you without making themselves vulnerable.
You can tailor your agent choices depending on what the majority of your opponent has, but in general, Sniper or long-range ARs like Nobunaga can perform well on this map. If you are playing defensively, or as stealth, Bai Mo or Eika can also be a good choice.
Port Euler
Port Eular is by far the most expansive map in Strinova’s Demolition Mode. But unfortunately, all the good holding points are with the defender and the attackers are more vulnerable if they go inside. So, for attackers, it is best to try sniping or playing stealth rather than rushing in guns blazing. For defenders, just hold any point looking over the corners.
Coming to hero choices, your best bet would be Kokona or Reiichi for snipers and Nobunaga and Ming for AR users. Playing shotgun can be extremely risky because of how much you have to run in the open before you can reach the objective points.
Windy City
The Windy Town is a total balanced map. The left side of the map is more limited, giving an edge to close players while the right side is more expansive, better for long range encounters. Depending on what Agent you play, you have to change your side accordingly and move forward through that.
Being overall balanced, there there are not one or few Agents which may perform better on this map. Rather it’s more about choosing counter options or overall put. If you’re not sure what to choose, here’s a list to help you find the right one.
Space Laboratory
The Space Lab is an interesting map compared to the others. While the overall design isn’t over-the-top, it feels more like a Domination map than a Search and Destroy. Whichever side can capture the corners of the goal has a clear advantage. This does it more advantageous for attackers because they can rush to the Power Room and take the corner positions guarding all entry points for the defenders.
If you’re an Attacker, it’s best to pick close range agents with SMGs or Shotguns like Yvette or Eika. Similarly, if you’re a Defender, it’s best to pick Agents with some range and damage like Ming or Kanami if you are sure.
Dauchy district
The Dauchy District is almost the opposite of the Space Laboratory. It is significantly more complex in design, and each room is connected to the other by corridors or paths. Because of this, the chances of you getting ambushed are quite high. Defenders have a distinct advantage at points A and C with the tactical angle views, while point B is open on all sides but much easier to reach and cover all sides.
If you play as a Defender, you can brave Shotguns and hold corner openings to one-shot most players. You can play it a little safer with ARs or high-damage SMGs like Michelle or Yvette. For Attackers, it’s best to be sensible and stick to good hipfire Agents how Flavia or Meredith mainly because you will have to be much more careful and look around every corner.
Team Arena Maps
Team Arena is a much more casual game mode with a simple 7v7 setup. Unlike Demolition, you can have re-apps, making this mode much more intense with continuous action on all fronts. So, to help you master this mode, here are all the maps with how to play on each.
No.2 Depository
The map design of the No.2 Depot is as simple as it gets. It is open on all four sides, with a square design tied on all fronts. This makes it a haven for single-shot weapons like Shotguns and Snipers. The vertical corridors on each Zone are the points for snipers during the horizontals across the Entrance and Sorting Area are dominated by Shotguns.
DPS should be your biggest factor when choosing an Agent for this map. After trying every hero on this map, the best choices include Bai Mo for shotguns, Kanami for Snipers, and Ming with hip fire if you want to play both close and long range.
Arcadia District
Arcadia District is probably one of the longest range friendly maps in Strinova. With multiple places to hold and snipe on both sides, it’s the best map to improve your sniping skills. The upper level of the Parkour Route it’s where you’d want to be to get a clear view of the action and lurk peacefully.
The best agents to choose on this map would be Kanami, Cocoon, Reiichiand even Nobunaga to some extent. If you want to be sneaky and catch the snipers in no time, then go for it Bai Mo sneaking through the Fast Track would also be a good option.
Underwater Power Plant
The Underwater Power Plant map, although it looks quite wide, is not that friendly to long range as it is full of structures. The only open corridors are the Narrow Ring Roads on both sides, which are not long. Rather, the best game for this map would be tuck it in the center using shotguns or high-DPS SMGs.
Therefore, the best agents for this map include Bai Mo and Eika if you want Shotguns and Michelle or Yvette for others. If you’re not sure which weapons are meta or have the highest DPS, please check our tier list to get a better idea.
Escort Mode Maps
The Escort Mode is a very fun mode combining the best of both worlds having unlimited reaps along with a clear objective like Demolition Mode. You’ll have to stick to the payload to push it to the end point or prevent it from reaching it before the timer runs out. Here are the maps for this mode, and how to adapt your playstyle accordingly.
departure zone
The Departure Zone is one of the two maps in this mode. It has a lot shorter corners and small stretches of straight roadso much of the action is at much closer range. If you still hope to stay in the back line and snipe, then you will have to keep hoping from one roof to another.
Given the close range nature of this map, the best options include SMGs and ARs, especially the higher end ones like Michelle, Mingand Flavia. Shotguns like Bai Mo and Eika can be a solid option but they are not as effective due to how closely the opposing team would stick together.
Asak Factory
The other map on this mode is Asak Factory, which, unlike its counterpart, offers much longer stretches to actually use range rather than getting up close and personal. The first and last corners around the Transport Passageways are the holding areas with most shootouts. So, be sure to cover up during those stretches.
With the availability of roofs, long reaches and also short corridors on the sides with coverage, you can choose almost any type of Agent on this map and make it work. Rather, your focus should be on holding tactical pointswhether it be through long range encounters or close combat.
