Weaver and team Terminus are ready to hunt down Richtofen in the new cinematic Black Ops 6 Zombies

Treyarch has just released the first cinematic trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies to give players an insight into the lore. In it, we can see that the story takes place five years after the events of Cold War Zombies after which Weaver and other Requiem members were betrayed by their project director, Edward Richtofen, and sent to an isolated prison.

The cinematic trailer begins with a distant shot of Terminus Island in the Philippine Sea in the year 1991. Ex-Requiem members – Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie “Mac” Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss, and Stoney Maddox (aka Raptor One) – are tortured and interrogated in this outpost for five years now.

Soon, a mysterious character who later turns out to be a Filipino smuggler, Maya Aguinaldo, takes the guard and frees the prisoners from their cells. She is followed by none other than Dr. William Peck, a former enemy of the Requiem, and unsurprisingly, Carver is not pleased to see him. Peck then reveals that everyone in that room is after a common enemy, Richtofen.

He then proposes to go after Richtofen, expose him for his crimes, and then kill him. However, Maya interrupts and reminds him that she is there to find her brother as well (unrevealed character). But then, an unexpected dimensional breach occurs at the prison out of nowhere. While Raptor One is ordered by Weaver to prepare the helicopter, Peck and Strauss are told to locate Richtofen’s coordinates. The remaining Terminus operators will help Maya find the whereabouts of her lost brother.
