However, Bloomtown straddles a different line – it’s both cozy and unnervingly disturbing. I would describe it as a “dark cozy” game that better captures its unique blend of warmth and terror. While the pixel art might echo the style of Stardew Valley, don’t be fooled; this game offers a much darker twist. Instead of a peaceful homestead escape, Bloomtown reveals a nightmare seen through a window; a charming town that is much more sinister than it seems.
