Where to find Meteorite Fragments in Palworld
Materials don’t usually fall from the sky in Palworld (unless you shoot a flying Kamaro), but they just might in this situation. If you want to know where to find Meteorite Fragments in Palworld, then keep reading.
How to get Meteorite Fragments in Palworld
You can get Meteorite fragments in Palworld during Events of meteors. These are random events added with the island of Sakurajima that will shake your screen like something crashed next to you (something crashed).
Meteor events occur nearby your current location In my experience, these events don’t happen while you’re on base; they only happen when you explore. You can recognize the Meteor events in Palworld by a meteor icon on the map.
However, keep in mind that not every Meteor event will give you Meteorite fragments. Often, you will receive a Supply chest instead. These are also quite useful as you will usually find great items and materials like Crude Oil, Elixirs, accessories, etc.
When a Meteor drops and not a Supply chest, it is accompanied by a space Pal (or Xenogard, Selyne, or Xenovander). This is a great opportunity to grab them for your collection. Xenogard, the Planet-devouring dragon, appears as an alpha boss, so always be ready for a tough fight when you go to Meteor.
From the air, the Meteorite ore might look similar to coal or stone, so get down to check properly (don’t be like me and keep flying around confused). The difference is round purple spots that you will see on the ore.
When you are safe from any attack, take yours out Pickaxe and start knocking away. I usually get about 30 to 40 Meteorite Fragments from a single event.
All Meteorite Fragment Crafting Recipes
Meteorite Fragments are used to make a Meteor launcher and also Meteor Bullets. The bullets only require 2 x Meteor fragments, so it’s not too hard to farm for them. The Launcher, however, requires:
- Meteorite Fragment x 100
- Refined Ingot x 30
- Paldio Fragment x 20
Meteorite can also be used to get 3 x Paldia Fragments in the Crusher, so if you have enough bullets for the Launcher, you can turn what you don’t need into another very useful crafting material.
