Echoes are the lifeblood of your characters in Wuthering Waves because they are the most important “things” you will seek to obtain for them. If you participate in the Echo Call Event hoping to get a leg up for release, here are the best Echoes you should be looking for.
Best Echo you should take in the Wuthering Waves Echo Summoning event
The Echo Summoning event is mostly an event focused on promotion for the upcoming release of Wuthering Wave. However, it does offer some great perks for players, such as a free Asterite (the game's premium currency), and one free Echo of your choice once the game is released.

As someone who played extensively through the last Wuthering Wave CBT (Closed Beta Test 3), I can say that your choice of Echo in this event is not as difficult as it seems. In reality, you should go for any Echo that has a cost of '3' listed in the Echo Gallery. What do I mean by this? Allow me to explain.
For clarity, all Echoes in Wuthering Waves have a numerical cost associated with them in the upper left corner of their image. This cost is tied to the equipment system in the game, in which equipping an Echo costs the value you are shown.
There is a maximum value that cannot be exceeded on each character, thus limiting which combination of Echoes you can use on them. For example, you can't throw five '3' cost Echoes on, because you'll run out of space very quickly, and miss stats.
As for the event, you want to select '3' cost Echobecause the higher the cost value, the better the statistics you will enter the Echo. You want to get as close to the charge cap as possible without having empty Echo slots, and you'll be able to use '3' cost Echos to help you do that.

The other reason you want to go for a '3' cost Echo is because they have a more powerful active ability. In fact, the higher the cost value of an Echo, the more powerful their active ability tends to be. With this in mind, I recommend going for the Cyan-feathered heron or Flutist as your choice, as their abilities saw some use in the Closed beta, although that can always change for release.
Does your event Echo choice matter in Wuthering Waves?
Finally, your choice of the Echo doesn't matter. The biggest reason for this is that all Echoes will come with random stats, similar to how Artifacts did in Genshin Impact (if you're familiar). You'll be actively farming Echoes throughout your time with Wuthering Waves, so you'll likely forget which Echo you even picked before long. What's more, Echoes are farmable free, no Stamina cost, meaning that this single Echo of this event is of little value in the long run. The odds of this one-event Echo rolling with amazing stats are very low, due to the nature of RNG-based stats, so don't stress about it.
