Will Black Ops 6 have Warzone?
After the big reveal of Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the multiplayer and zombie fanatics are excited about what Treyarch has been working on. But not much has been shared about the popular Battle Royale Warzone. What will become of Warzone? Will it be integrated with BO6? Let’s find out.
Is Warzone in Black Ops 6?
According to the Call of Duty blog, Black Ops 6 content will be added to Warzone with the Season 1 update and the game will continue to have MW2 & MW3 items. If you look at the trend of the previous years, this integration will happen in early December 2024 and all new weapons and operators from BO6 will be transferred to Warzone.
Not much has been revealed yet so I can’t share much here, but you have your answer, Black Ops 6 will have Warzone. Warzone has always been a standalone game that utilizes content from annual Call of Duty releases. Although no MW2 & MW3 content will carry over to BO6, it will be available for use in Warzone.
What I can’t wait to know is if the new, revised movement mechanics will be integrated along with other content. It will be a huge change to the Battle Royale, but can make it more fun and exciting to play if it is implemented correctly. The developers call this the “every move” that allows your operator to sprint, slide and dive in any direction and gave a brief overview of it in the BO6 reveal trailer.
Although all recent Call of Duty titles share the same engine, there is definitely some difference in graphical fidelity and look and feel of the game. For example, Black Ops Cold War has a much different art style than MW 2019. Only time will tell if Warzone’s art style will stay the same, or be changed to match BO6’s (I’d bet on the former).
