Wuthering Waves has a Pity system for Echoes as well as banners

A lesser known pity system in Wuthering Waves is the Echo Pity system. Players will already be aware of the Banner Pity system, which prevents them from being too unlucky when they Gather and draw characters and/or weapons. But on top of that, there’s a hidden mercy system that works for Echoes – the creatures in the game that you can absorb and equip to your Rovers and Resonators.

The Echo Pity system ensures that if you don’t get an Echo drop after defeating a certain number of enemies, you’re guaranteed to get one after reaching a specific threshold. What that threshold is depends on the type of Echo you are growing.

In Wuthering Waves, there are four types of Echoes:

  • Common Echoes
  • Elite Echoes
  • Overlord Echoes
  • Calamity Echoes

The mercy system of each class is independent, so progress in one class does not affect the others.
