Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 update is finally here, bringing a new event called Critical Countdown. As is tradition, players can earn a variety of free rewards such as weapon skins and business cards by completing a few simple challenges. So without further ado, let’s dive into the details.
How to complete the Critical Countdown event in Modern Warfare 3
Your main objective during the Critical Countdown event is to collect four types of DNA strands in the multiplayer matches and finally use them to unlock rewards in Modern Warfare 3. Here is the list of all the DNA strands you can get:
- Ade (Blue DNA strands)
- Quote (Orange DNA strands)
- TBA
- TBA
As you can clearly see, only two of the four DNA stands are available in the game right now, and they can be obtained from kill your opponents or loot the caches. However, the type of DNA Stand you get is completely random, so you may have to grind for a particular type to unlock its respective reward.
All Modern Warfare 3 Critical Countdown event rewards
Modern Warfare 3 players can collect the following rewards during the Critical Countdown event:

It’s worth noting that more rewards will be added once the rest of the DNA Strands are released into the game. In addition to this, you will receive the World Ender blueprint for the FR 5.56 if you unlock all the rewards mentioned above.
Surprisingly, Critical Countdown is a a four week eventwhich means players have plenty of time to earn enough tokens and unlock all the rewards.
