All the Secret Moves in Jujutsu Shenanigans
Jujutsu Shenanigans features five different characters you can choose from and each has eight different fighting moves: four basic and four awakening moves. Once you’ve learned these general attack maneuvers, you should try out the secret moves for each character.
All Secret Moves for every character in Jujutsu Shenanigans
The secret moves are mostly activated by pressing the R button (left D-pad on Xbox and star on mobile) in addition to the standard basic and awakening moves. Sometimes the character can use a small piece of the energy from the ultimate bar, so keep that in mind.
Honored One (Goyo) Secret Moves
- Basic Moves
- Reverse Red (2) + R: While Reversal Red fires a projectile at the target, pressing R shortly after teleports you directly behind the enemy before firing the rocket.
- Lapsa Blue (1) + Reverse Red (2) + R: This three-move secret combo should be done exactly in the order I mentioned here for effect. Combine the Lapse Blue and Reversal Red moves together and kick the enemy to the floor.
- Lapse Blue (1) + R and Double Kick (4) + R: Here you have to press one of the two moves in front of an opponent, look up when the enemy is in the air, and then press R. Instead of just kicking the enemy away, you will jump up in the air and smash them down on the ground with impact.
- Awakening Movements
- Reversal Red Max (2) + R: Using this secret move, you do not fire the explosive at the opponent. Instead, the enemy is pulled towards you as you press R and you then perform a Black Flash maneuver knocking them down.
- Lapse Blue Max (1) + Reversal Red Max (2): You need to use Lapse Blue Max as the finishing move here for the secret move to manifest. If done correctly, this combo activates the Nuke effect.
- Jump + Lapse Blue Max (1) and Jump + Reversal Red Max (2): Jumping before using either of these two awakening moves allows you to perform the aerial variant of the move, in which you have more control.
Ship (Itadori/Sukuna) Secret Moves
- Basic Moves
- Jump + Cursed Blows (1) and Jump + Slam (2): Let’s start first with the air moves for Itadori. Jumping and pressing Cursed Strikes in the middle performs a deadly downward kick on the target called an Aerial Strike. On the other hand, you can press Crushing Blow in the middle to activate Slamdown by punching the enemy into the ground twice in a row.
- Divergent Fist (3) + Divergent Fist (3): Instead of just punching your enemy, you can perform a Black Flash on them by pressing the Divergent Fist again right before the punches land. The timing of the second keystroke is important here and you can easily get it in a few tries.
- 1/2/3 + R: If you immediately press R while using any move except Manji Kick (4), your character will cancel that attack. This can be used to confuse the enemy save move if you press it by accident.
- Awakening Movements
- Dismount (1) + Rush (3) + Open (2) + R: Press Rush immediately after Dismount followed by Open to activate the Dragon’s Scale and Curses. Finally, press R for Twin Meteors, which will activate World Cutting Slash. This secret move sends a deadly slash damaging anyone in its path.
- Jump + Dismount (1): When you use Air Dismantle, your character throws a single powerful slash hitting anyone in the path.
Restless Gambler (Hakari)
- Basic Moves
- Spare Balls (1) + Shutter Doors (2): To activate the Pachinko Combo, you must press 2 immediately after throwing Spare Balls. This will perform the Shutter Door move as soon as the enemy is hit with the ball.
- R: Although not a secret move, I had to mention Door Guard because Hakari doesn’t have any other special move set. Pressing R creates protective doors in front of you for a short moment. If the enemy punches it, your character will counterattack by smashing them through the door.
Ten Shadows (Megumi)
- Basic Moves
- R + Rabbit Fudge (1): While moving in the shadows after pressing R, press 1 to activate Rabbit Hole and burst out with a bunch of rabbits damaging anyone nearby.
- Nue (2) + R: Instead of sending the bird to the enemy, you can fly with it by activating Nue Flight. The bird will do its usual damage as long as you can close the distance between you and the opponent.
- Toad (3) + Nue (2): The Unknown Abyss of the Well is one of my favorite secret moves in Jujutsu Shenanigans. Pressing 2 shortly after performing a Toad will spawn many toads that grab the opponent and fly up before knocking them to the ground.
Perfection (Mahito)
- Basic Moves
- Skip + Store (1): While in the air, press 1 to do a Hammer to the opponent. That’s Mahito’s secret air move.
- Focus Strike (3) + Focus Strike (3): Pressing Focus Strike twice initiates the Black Flash move on your opponent. The key is to time the second key press just before you are about to hit the opponent.
- R + Focus Strike (3): R for Mahito transforms his Fists into either Blades or Clubs. While in Blade mode, initiate Focus Strike to perform the Chainwhip special move.
- Body Push (4) + Focus Strike (3): When the Body Repel train is about to appear, activate Focus Strike and you will be carried with the item to the opponent. This secret move is called the Passenger of Death.
- Awakening Movements
- R + Body Disfigurement (2): This isn’t exactly a secret move, but players can miss this. Remember you can transform into Fist, Club and Blade mode using R with Mahito? Combining different transformations with the Body Disfigure move creates a different effect:
- Fists + Body Disfigurement (2): Drill Splitter that turns your hands into a powerful drill.
- Blades + Body Disfigurement (2): Heart Piercer launches you into the air and drops a bunch of spikes on the enemy.
- Clubs + Body Disfigurement (2): Force Grab your opponent for a moment, which you can throw away (press R) or slam into the ground (press 2).
- R + Body Disfigurement (2): This isn’t exactly a secret move, but players can miss this. Remember you can transform into Fist, Club and Blade mode using R with Mahito? Combining different transformations with the Body Disfigure move creates a different effect:
