Best Field Updates in Black Ops 6 Beta

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta is here and you must be wondering what gadgets and equipment you can use to gain a competitive edge over your opponents. Although the BO6 Beta only contains a few of these items, I’ve listed all the Field Upgrades from best to worst so you know which ones to use.

Best Field Updates in Black Ops 6 Beta

Field Upgrades are powerful devices with a cooldown and recharge once used over time. Some of these equipment have a short recharge time, while others take longer to refill. The following rankings are based on my opinion; however, each player may have their favorite Field Upgrade that will work best for their playstyle, so be sure to experiment and try new things.

1. Assault Pack

Current MW3 players may know this device as a Munitions Box. Drop the Assault Pack and you and your teammates can use it to replenish ammo, lethality and tactical equipment. No matter what game mode you play, you will always need more ammo, especially when you go for high kills. That’s why I consider the Assault Pack to be one of the best Field Upgrades to use in Black Ops 6 Beta.

2. Trophy System

Traditional Trophy System that blocks enemy projectiles such as grenades, flares and rockets before impact. It is one of the most used Field Upgrades in all of Call of Duty because its requirement is unavoidable if you play game modes like Hardpoint tactically. Deploy the device in the capture zone and enemies cannot use their equipment against you. But remember, Trophy System can only block a limited number of projectiles until destroyed or shot down.

3. Sleeper Agent

Sleeper Agent is a recently introduced Field Upgrade that I personally enjoyed using. Once activated, you will appear as a friendly player to the opposing team for a short duration. You can use this opportunity to sneak up behind the enemies and take them out fraudulently, but it’s not guaranteed that you’ll go undetected. Enemy smart devices like UAVs and your shots will reveal your location to the opponents.

4. Neuroses

A Neurogas Field Upgrade trap can be placed at a desired location and once triggered, it will release a toxic gas cloud that obscures enemy vision and slowly damages them. It’s a great tactical device that you can deploy to prevent enemies from entering or leaving a certain area for a short time.

5. Acoustic Ampere

While MW3 has the Bone Conduction Headset Perk that you can use permanently to hear footsteps louder, Black Ops 6 has a Field Upgrade called Acoustic Amp. This device lasts a short time and amplifies enemy footsteps so you can track them effortlessly. Other Field Updates are more useful than this gadget for Black Ops 6 if you ask me.
