Best loadouts for Apex Legends Season 21

Season 21 (Disorder) of Apex Legends has changed the set of weapons. With the Wing now as ground loot and Devotion going to the Care Pack, what is the best loadout to do? This guide will show you the best guns you should choose, as well as their loadouts, so you are well equipped in battle.

Best weapons in Apex Legends Season 21

From Assault Rifles to Snipers, it really depends on your playstyle and how you choose your favorites. However, each category of weapons has a gun that is better than the others, and these are the ones that should be in your arsenal.

A straight line

Sorry R-301 fans, but the Flatline is simply a better choice when it comes to recoil and attachments. This fully automatic assault rifle does 18 damage to the body and 32 to the head But, the main takeaway is the the recoil of a gun that is so simple to check.

Additionally, the Flatline requires only a scope, heavy magazine and stock as attachments. That’s it! This makes it an extremely versatile choice as a primary weapon, and you should pick this one up as soon as you see it.

Personally I prefer simple 2x scope because it allows me to shoot at both short and medium range. The gold heavy magazine and purple stock are the best, so don’t hesitate to ask your teammates to pick those up.

CAR SMG

You probably didn’t see this one coming, did you? Yes, the R-99 and the Alternative are great SMG options, but the CAR (Combat Advanced Round) SMG is the most versatile secondary weapon in the game. Why? Well, it allows you to shoot both Heavy and Light ammunition. On a computer, just press and hold the B button to switch between ammo types.

The CAR SMG inflicts 12 damage to the body, and 15 to the head This is best experienced from close range, and it is advisable not to rely on an SMG for medium-long range shots. Instead, go back to your primary weapon in such cases.

Peacekeeper

Oh, Peacekeeper, you trusty little beast! The Peacekeeper is a lever-action shotgun that has been in the Apex Games since its first season and it refuses to climb down in the meta. Holding and aiming it leaves it’to suffocate‘, who narrows the spread and gives you a very accurate shot. Dealing massive damage from 9×11 to the body and 11×11 to the head, the Peacekeeper is a very reliable shotgun that can be an alternative to SMG.

Keep in mind that keeping a shotgun as your secondary weapon hardly requires you to stock up on ammo. Just carrying 32 rounds is usually good enough, and you can save the rest of your backpack space for primary ammo.

Longbow DMR

The Longbow DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) is for those who like to keep things at a safe distance and still use high rates of fire. Of course, it’s not as fast as the 50-50 Repeater, but the Longbow delivers lethal damage of 55 to the body and 118 to the head Now, that’s some serious firepower considering it’s not even a sniper rifle.

If you manage to find the Skull-piercing Rifling Hop-Up for the gun, it will multiply the headshot damage by 0.35. This is essential if you will be using Longbow as a silent scout, waiting for enemies to appear.

Honorable mentions

I would like to mention that the Spitfire and Kraber are some of my favorite weapons in situations that require heavy firepower. This is especially true when playing Legend as Rampart which is faster with LMGs, and can use it Amped Cover boost any shots fired with these two guns.

However, it is advisable customize your loadout according to your Legend. For example, if you know the abilities of Alter (the latest addition of Apex Legend) and how to use her, you can use something that is fast and close. Flatline paired with Peacekeeper would make a great match.
