Bloodborne now playable on PC with unlimited frame rate

When Bloodborne was released back in 2015, it was praised for its gameplay and theme and was even hailed as one of the greatest video games among fans. The PlayStation exclusive game was undoubtedly great, however it could only be played at 30 FPS and on console, until now.

ShadPS4, a PlayStation 4 emulator for PC, now allows Bloodborne to be played at unlimited framerate, and on PC. You can check out the demo video above, where the uploader shows the gameplay with the emulator; the frame rate isn’t stable though, but what we get here is exceptional compared to the 30 FPS cap.

A related post on Reddit gained traction and community members applauded the emulation developers for their efforts even several years after the game’s launch. User _theMAUCHO_ said, “Their passion and talent is honestly out of this world.” Another user added, “They somehow have more passion than Sony.”

As for why an official PC release hasn’t come out yet (despite all the demand), no one knows for sure what’s going on behind the scenes. Until then, hopefully, the ShadPS4 emulator developers manage to bring a playable version of the game for PC. It’s not yet clear how long it will last, but the manager is keeping fans posted with all the latest developments with the port on his. Twitter page and website.

While Sony owns the rights for Bloodborne, we haven’t seen any enthusiasm from them for the game lately. On the contrary, a top executive at FromSoftware (the creators of the game), not long ago stated that they are happy to see players asking for a remakewhich could bode well for his future.
