Church Cave Location in ARK Scorched Earth Ascended (Map)
The Church Cave, hidden in the map of Scorched Earth, contains many secrets, but it also served as a great base to protect me from dangerous creatures. If you are struggling to find it, follow this guide to learn the exact location of Church Cave in ARK Scorched Earth Ascended.
How to find Church Cave in ARK Scorched Earth Ascended
The Church Cave, nestled among the Ruins of Nosti in the southeastern part of the Scorched Earth map, is home to the crucial Artifact of the Gatekeeper. This artifact is not just any object; it is the key to summon the mighty Manticore. To start this search, follow the coordinates 78.2, 76.
The fastest way I managed to reach the Church Cave was spawning in the South 4 (Middle) Region and heading east. Along the way I encountered Pulmonoscorpii, Arthropluerae and Mantises. The Pulmonoscropius fell quickly after using the Electric Prod. At the same time, the Arthropluera was easy to avoid due to its sluggish speed.
After reaching the coordinates, I walked around the church, looking for an opening. Once I found it, I used it as my entry point. I descended the stairs that lay beyond, leading me into the heart of the cave. The path from here is simple, but beware of the occasional Onyc encounter. The area is also home to roaming Mantids and Arthropluerae, so be prepared for a fight.
At the end of the path, I reached a huge crystal room with a red glowing object on its other side. After getting closer, I realized that I had found the Gatekeeper's Artifact and decided to set up camp. The Church Cave is a wonderful base location, but you'll need to set up defenses near its entrances to keep unwanted guests at bay.
