Lethal Company is constantly getting big monster and moon updates, as well as new items in the shop, but I think Version 55 will bring the best update of all: a company cruiser.
According to the trailer on Zeekerss YouTube channel, Lethal Company Version 55 will launch on or before June 25, 2024. I really hope it’s sooner than later because I’d like to get that car asap and drift around all moons. I can already see myself driving off a cliff, so I hope the car is durable (although I wouldn’t mind dying if it’s in an epic explosion).
So far, there is no information on how you will get the car in the game. Usually, all items and ship upgrades are purchased from the store at the terminal, so we can assume that the car will also be available for purchase. It’s also likely to cost quite a bit of money, as this feels more like a late-game update rather than something you should have from the get-go.
The car will be very useful for transporting loot quickly back to the ship, especially if it has a lot of storage space in the trunk. It could also be very useful for surviving when the sun goes down and all the night monsters start roaming the moons looking to kill you.
Since there aren’t that many details yet, we can only make assumptions about how the cruiser will be integrated into the game. The important thing is that you can definitely dance on the roof of the car. But what I really want to know is if we’re going to get the ‘Paint me as one of your French girls’ pose as an emote. It would definitely add to the hilarity of the game, especially if you get killed while using it.
Besides the car, Version 55 is likely to have other important content. You can most likely expect a few new monsters, as one or two are usually added with each version. I’d also like to see new costumes in the game in time for summer (looking cool improves my work performance by at least 300%, so the company should really invest in that).
