DATA LIVE Ren Dystopia Walkthrough – All good endings
In DATE A LIVE: Ren Dystopia, you play as Shido, who has the ability to seal the powers of spirits after they fall in love with him. Check out our walkthrough below for all the good endings.
DATE A LIVE Ren Dystopia Walkthrough – Best answers
The first half hour of DATE A Live: Ren Dystopia sets the scene for the game and shows you all of the main character’s available love interests. There are ten girls you can date or hang out with in the game, and many of them have some strange reactions to being around the protagonist (mainly their inability to stop blushing or demanding his attention). Not all girls are spirits: Kotori (Shido’s sister) is just as human as him.
The 10th girl is the spirit Ren that you meet in a dream-like world during the prologue. Her lines of dialogue are a little uncomfortable, to say the least. But she looks imprisoned and injured, so you can conclude that you will probably try to rescue her at some point.
The first decision you make in DATE A Live: Ren Dystopia takes place at school. The twins (Kaguya and Yuzuru) want you to choose between their food offerings. Before you do that, definitely save the game; you will constantly return to this exact screen to start each playthrough, so this should be a Save One.
Choose Kaguya’s pork chop sandwich to continue the conversation.
After that scene ends, you’ll see a map of the school and the surrounding area. This map takes you to each of the girls in the game so you can talk to them and go on dates with them, etc. If you can’t see the character you want to hang out with, they will be in the Raizen High School part of the map. You can click that to see the rest of the girls’ locations.
Do you see how the Sanctuary is darkened? There you will eventually find Ren, but you will have to unlock it first. Scroll down to Ren’s section to find out how.
Tohka
To start playing Tohka, select Raizen High School on the map, and then select the Classroom where her picture is.
Tohka will ask to have lunch with you, but Origami will interrupt rather abruptly and hand you a lunch box. Phew, bad timing.
You have lunch together, the day ends, and Tohka tries to ask you out on a date. But, again, she is interrupted. This time, it’s Kotori who does it.
Tohka gets to wish her date when Ren summons you both to the dream world.
After the date, you and Tohka will leave together and she will ask “How is today’s date?”
Your answer should be “Well, is there something wrong?”
After some magical weirdness the next day, you and Tohka will try to stop the twins from fighting. You should choose (go away).
The final decision you have to make comes after Ren settles things and the twins recover. You have to choose (I’m still not sure) to end Tohka’s good ending path.
Origami
Origami can be found at the Market when you look at the map. You’ll have to go back to day one again to play another girl’s good ending – this is why I suggested you have the twin’s food option as a Save One in your loadout menu.
You will get through a bit of your school day before Ren summons you and Origami into the dream world. Her request is… Kinda weird.
Incoming bunny suit. Choose (Make her eat carrots.) when you see that screen.
A little later, you will have to pick up Origami and she will complain that she is too heavy. Just put (Try to lift Tohka.) It won’t matter much because you stop yourself from saying it (smart choice there, protag).
Almost immediately after that dialog choice, you are given two more options to choose from. Go with (Just keep calm and take her home).
The day changes and you go out to meet Origami again. After a short conversation, you will end up in the park, where you should answer “Don’t try it.” so that you get the good ending for Origami.
Yoshino
Load Save One again. Yoshino is in the Overlook on the map.
You’ll go through the same motions of wondering if the container you found under your pillow is Yoshino’s, and then meeting Ren with Yoshino in tow.
After a bit of story, you will finally come to your first decision. Yoshino asks for a quick peck on the cheek. Choose (Take it seriously.)
Your next response comes after Yoshino spends the day acting a little strange. She will directly ask you, “What did you think of me today?” You should choose the answer (Something felt wrong.)
After the scene with Ren, you will meet Yoshino again. Answer (I prefer the regular Yoshino.)
Kurumi
Load Save One. Kurumi is in Tengu Tower.
You won’t get your first pick until about 40 minutes into Kurumi’s route if you let the lines autoplay. The first is in the classroom during sunset. Select the above option – turn around – it’s not nice to ignore someone who’s trying to get your attention.
After your coffee shop, Kurumi will corner you and ask you to close your eyes. don’t do The choice here is Don’t close my eyes.
After Ren has entered again, you and Kurumi will walk and she will ask you if she can resist fate. Answer Don’t give up.
She doesn’t, and you will enjoy the happy ending for Kurumi.
to filth
I don’t think I have to keep telling you but – Load Save One.
Click Itsuka House on the map, and you will meet Kotori. She is Shido’s adopted sister in the DATE A LIVE series.
Like Kurumi’s good ending, you’ll have to sit through about 40 minutes of dialogue before you get your first choice. You’ll find out that Kotori uses her hair ribbons to express her mood, but she’s in trouble today, even though she changed her ribbons.
You suggest she try wearing her hair in a different way, and Kotori asks you how it looks. tell her (It looks great on you.)
After a field trip, you will get sick, and Kotori will come and sit next to you. She is very worried. Answer with the option (Trust her.)
A little later, you will talk to Kotori about wishes. Your answer should be (I would do the same.). Be sure not to tell her she made a mistake or you’ll mess up the ending.
That last answer leads to the good ending, so you’re in the clear.
Kaguya
Load Save One. The twins are a little hard to make out on the map, but Kaguya is in the High School, on the Rooftop. If you’re new to the series, Yuzuru has a braid, Kaguya doesn’t.
Your first dialogue choice will appear when Kaguya uses two pairs of pincers. Choose Kaguya made it possible start the good finish road.
Kaguya will later get into an argument with a somewhat unhinged Kurumi. When you get the option, select (Help Kaguya.)
After everything is back to normal, Kaguya will ask if you had fun during the last two days of her trying to rule the world. Answer (I had fun.)
If you get the good ending, Kaguya will get some help against Ren during their fight at the end of the game.
Yuzuru
Load Save One. You can meet Yuzuru in the Park.
After the movie, you and Yuzuru go to the park again. She “trips” and lands on you. When she tells you that you can look wherever you want, your response should be (Turn away my eyes.)
A little later, you and Yuzuru will end up sleeping next to each other. Yuruzu starts talking about you, but you should (Pretend to sleep.)
You will have another meeting with Ren and then Yuruzu will ask how you felt during your date with her. say (I felt relieved.)
That answer will push you to the good ending, and Yuruzu will get help in her battle.
Miku
Load Save One. To find Miku on the map, select Raizen High School, and then select the School option.
Your first decision comes when Miku invites Natsumi to hug her. After Natsumi is all cuddled, Miku tells you to get into the hug too. Your answer should, of course, be (A hug.)
Things happen, you become invisible, but only Miku can’t see you. She can still hear your voice, but she gets upset. Time to (Hug Her.) again.
Some anime nonsense happens, you turn into a girl, and Miku gets upset again (this is a theme with her). This time, however, you will say (I’m angry.)
This gives Miku the push she needs, obviously, because you’ll slide right into the good ending.
Natsumi
Load Save One. Natsumi is the last of the nine girls that you can get a good ending for. You can find her in the Neighborhood part of the map.
She tells you she’s being chased, but it’s just Miku chasing her, so…. Advance.
During Natsumi’s gameplay, she tries to have some fun with you by threatening to write on you with a marker. This is the point where you’ll find your first dialog option, and you should (Stop her.)
Natsumi throws a bit of a tantrum later after she accidentally spoke out loud. You run after her and meet her in her room where she buried her head in her bed. tell her (Not really…) when she asks if you think she’s dirty.
The final dialogue choice you must make for Natsumi to ensure the good ending is the line (That apology was better just now.) which takes place in the shopping district after talking to Yoshino.
Natsumi wakes you up the next morning as usual.
Ren
Ren actually has four endings – weird, I know. One normal (there is no good ending for Ren), two bad, and the “true” ending. You can’t get to Ren’s path until you’ve completed the good ending for at least one of the other girls.
This time, instead of loading the first save file so you start by choosing from the twins’ food options, you have to start a new game. If you don’t, the Sanctuary will still be locked.
Go through the motions until you’re back at school with the twins and choose Yuzuru’s fried noodle bread. This should be the first time you choose this option when you are in the classroom with them.
When the map loads in this game, you should be able to access the Shrine and there will now be a silhouette of Ren.
Ren will return in her original state – with both eyes covered. It’s like you’re meeting her for the first time, and, in a way, it is.
A few cutscenes will play out as you talk to various other characters before you return to the Shrine to make a wish.
If you want the normal ending, you have to choose (I want to introduce you to everyone.)
Ren’s normal ending is really annoying because it starts off pretty sweet and then does a full 180 degree turn. I won’t spoil anything for you because it’s an ending you have to experience for yourself, but it’s equally satisfying and unsatisfying.
