Dead by Daylight Players Accuse Developers of Skin Price Inflation Following Store Update 7.7.0

Dead by Daylight is trying to standardize cosmetic pricing with the upcoming store update 7.7.0, which will drop on April 23rd. However, fans are not too happy to see some of the price increases for some of the cosmetics.

While this is understandable, considering how many cosmetics there are in Dead by Daylight across both Survivors and Assassins, this change is mostly positive.

Dead by Daylight Prices Change with 7.7.0 Update

If you've been a long-time Dead by Daylight player, you've probably noticed that the prices of different cosmetics of the same rarity have been inconsistent. Even a different color of the same suit can be more expensive.

The DBD 7.7.0 update will bring a visual overhaul and QOL change to the shop, but what's more important is that they are now standardization of cosmetic prices across all rarities. According to Behavior Interactive on X @DeadbyDaylightaround 130 cosmetics will receive a cost reduction with this change, while only three will receive a price increase.

Fans on X did not respond very well to the news, claiming Shard inflation. Although the cosmetic prices are generally quite expensive, we can all agree, this change is actually a good thing, considering so many things are cheap. And since DBD is constantly releasing new collections like Slipknot, it means you can plan ahead and save some Fragments. You can check the new prices in the table below, which will go into effect with the 7.7.0 update on April 23rd.
