How to breed animals in BitLife

One of the best ways to increase your profit numbers as a Zoo Keeper is to keep baby animals as part of your display regularly. To do this, you need to have a male and female version of the same animal and breed them to make offspring. So, here is a short guide on how to breed animals in BitLife and keep the income going.

BitLife Breeding Guide – Zoo Keeper Expansion Pack

Like real life, to make cubs or any baby animal in BitLife, you need a male and female version of the same animal. For example, if you want a baby hippo in your Zoo, you will require a male and a female hippo to breed.

Sometimes, you will not have a pair of the same animal type in your Zoo. Either one of the partners would have died of disease, or you would have received a single animal by opening the Zoo. Regardless of the reason, you need to get a pair to start breeding. So, how do you get a partner for your single animal? Well, that’s where the Trading Post is used.

Look through the entire Trade Post and look for a suitable partner of the opposite sex for your animal. You can find partners for almost every type of animal, such as mammals, birds, reptiles and more. Also, the Business Post allows you to give your single animal to other Zoos or Wildlife sanctuaries who are looking for a similar animal to breed with their single animal.

Once you have found a healthy pair of animals, the only thing left to do is breed and produce offspring. Click on the animal name from the Animals Section and Press the race option under the Activities tab. As mentioned before, if you have both animals, the breeding process will begin, and the female animal will become pregnant. The following year, you will have a beautiful baby animal to display in your Zoo.

One important tip I want to share is that instead of impregnating all your animals at once, do one baby per year and keep rotating the list. For example, if this year you had otters, choose coyotes for next year and then parrots. Doing this allows you to have at least one baby in your Zoo and keep the income flowing.
