How to disable the Photonvaults and the Photon Barrier in Wuthering Waves

In the Wuthering Waves Main Story Quest called Truthseeker’s Pass, you must enter a hidden cave and disable three Photonvaults by solving puzzles that use the Chronosorter to unblock pathways. Here’s how to solve them and disable all Photonvaults to complete the quest objective.

As soon as you get the above objective, activate the Chronosorter and set it to the medium setting, as illustrated in the image above. A shapeless platform with a Clang Bang challenge will appear in the center of the room.

The platform is not very elevated, so you can easily jump on it with a tall character. Interact with the Echo Challenge: Clang Bang to start During the challenge, you will transform into Clang Bang and must complete an objective. If you go off the challenge path, it will automatically fail, but you can try again.

While in Clang Bang form, go to the jumping device ahead. Be sure to walk in a straight line and avoid going too far left or right, or the challenge will fail. Once you are on the jumping device, wait for it to propel you towards the ice wall. The effect of the Clang Bang will break the ice wall, opening a small hidden area.

In the small area, you will immediately see a Chronosorter. Activate it and move it to the leftmost section to prompt a bridge to appear.

While the yellow rock is with you, cross the bridge and head towards the Chronosorter. Next, turn left to find a brightly-lit area with a cracked rock blocking the way. Throw the yellow rock you lift onto the rock using the Basic Attack button, which will cause the boulder to break, opening another hidden path.

As soon as you enter the hidden path, you’ll spot a Supply Chest, which I encourage you to loot as it will be difficult to find the area later. Once done, to beat the TD in the large clearing to unlock the Chronosorter next to it.

Once the Chronosorter is unlocked, activate it and switch to the leftmost setting. Doing so will remove the rocks blocking the path pictured above. At this point, all blocked roads have been unlocked, so return to the first Chronosorter.

This time, change the setting so it’s on the leftmost timeline, which will remove the floating platform and unlock all the Photonvaults.

From here, simply switch to a ranked character and disable the three Photonvaults by attacking them with an aimed shot. The two are right in front of you, while the third is in the last room we unlocked (the quest navigator will guide you there).
