GTA Online’s Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC added several new missions and vehicles to the game. One such quest that has caught the attention of players is Dispatch Work, in which you can work as a police officer to eliminate criminals and get paid for it. Here’s a guide on how to get started and do police missions.
How to unlock police missions in GTA Online
To get access to Dispatch Work and make police dispatches in GTA 5, you must first buy a matching police vehicle. To get one of these, bring your phone, open the Internet and go to the Warstock Cache & Carry website (see image). On this page, you can buy any police car that says “Dispensing Work available“so that it allows you to do the new mission.
Currently, only six police vehicles support Dispatch Work in GTA Online and I have listed all of these with their prices and unlock criteria in the table below.

Best police vehicle to unlock for Dispatch Work mission in GTA Online
The above list would have given you an idea of the requirements to unlock these police vehicles. Most of these require you to complete some sort of quest from the previous DLCs, which can be time-consuming for new players. However, the Unbranded Cruiser seems like the best option to me because it’s the cheapest and has fairly simple unlocking criteria. You simply need to survive against a 3-star Wanted Level or higher for five minutes in GTA Online to gain access to this car, after which you can add it to your collection permanently for $3,950,000.
How to start a Dispatch Work mission in GTA Online
Once you own a police vehicle that supports Dispatch Work, call the Mechanic on your phone to get it to your location or get it from your garage. Until the vehicle arrives, ensure that you are not currently assigned as the CEO of an Organization or President of a Motorcycle Club; if you are, simply withdraw from these roles using the interactive menu as shown in the image above.
Now, get into the driver’s seat of the police car and press the button prompted on your screen to activate Dispatch Work. You will then receive orders from Vincent on your new police dispatch mission and completing one gives you $25,000. Interestingly, you can leave the police vehicle and travel to the target in any vehicle of your choice, for example, fly the Sparrow attack helicopter to the location and take out the criminals with the rockets in seconds.
